Operation Instructions
1. Plug and play. Insert the adapter into an appropriate power socket to turn on the string light and unplug it to turn off the light. No need to install bulbs.
Button Functions:
- Long press for 5 seconds to enter the network configuration mode.
- Tap the button to cycle through modes: Turn on, Static monochromatic mode (red, green, blue), Dynamic modes (breathing, flow, chase, dazzle), Turn off.
Note: Long pressing the button for 5 seconds in any mode will enter the network configuration state.
App Connection
To connect to the internet, please turn on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of your mobile phone first.
2.1 EZ mode quickly blink connection
Step 1: Plug in the adapter into the socket. The bulbs will blink rapidly. If the string light remains on after plugging in, long-press the "on/off" button for 5 seconds until the light bulbs suddenly don't light up, then stop pressing the "on/off" button almost at the same time. Alternatively, power off and on 5 times until the string light enters quickly blink status.
Step 2: Open the App, press "Add Device", select "Lighting", then press "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
Step 3: Confirm the light is blinking rapidly, then press the next step until confirming the device is added to the App successfully.
Step 4: Follow the App instructions, select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Note: Please make sure these steps are done within 2 minutes. If over time, the string light will stop blinking; please restart steps 1-4 to finish the connection.
2.2 Hot Spot connection (AP mode slowly blink connection)
Step 1: Plug in the adapter into the socket. The bulbs will blink rapidly. Long-press the "on/off" button for 5 seconds to turn the string light to slowly blink status. If the string light remains on after plugging in, long-press the "on/off" button for 5 seconds until the light bulbs suddenly don't light up, then stop pressing the "on/off" button almost at the same time. Or power off 5 times until the string light to quickly blink status.
Step 2: Open the App, press "Add Device", select "Lighting", then press "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
Step 3: Click the right top corner of the App, choose AP mode (hot-spot connection), and confirm the light is blinking slowly.
Step 4: Follow the App instructions, select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Step 5: Connect your mobile phone to the device's hotspot (e.g., "Lumary-XXXX").
Step 6: Go back to your phone's WLAN settings, choose the virtual router "Lumary-XXXX".
Step 7: Go back to the App and continue to add the device until confirming it is added successfully.
Note: Please make sure these steps are done within 2 minutes. If over time, the string light will stop blinking; please restart steps 1-7 to finish the connection.

APP Functions
When you enter the App, you can see five sections: On/Off, Colour, Scene, Music, Plan. Detailed function descriptions are provided below:
3.1. On/Off
This function acts as an analog key switch to control the power of the entire set of string lights. For a 56ft light string, the value is set to 15; for a 100ft light string, the value is set to 30.
Visual Description: App screenshots show an interface for setting the number of bulbs (e.g., "Please set the number of bulbs according to the actual number of bulbs in the lamp string", with options to input a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 48) and a color selection wheel.
3.2. Colour
After a successful connection, this Colour UI page is displayed by default. This page features 3 icons and 1 digital display. Users can click on the two icons to change between two color format choices. This section allows for selecting all colors, controlling individual bulb colors, or turning individual bulbs off.
Visual Description: App screens display a color picker with a spectrum and a grid of colors, showing 100% brightness. Controls allow for selecting individual bulb colors or turning them off.
3.3. Scene
There are 8 scene modes available: "Flow/Rainbow/Chase/Dazzle/Gradient/Jump/Breathing/ Blink". Each mode supports DIY scenes, allowing users to edit and collect their favorite scenes. Collected scenes appear at the top of the page for quick access.
Note: When done editing, be sure to preview and click Save. The DIY scene will also be saved the next time this page is opened.
Visual Description: App screens show various scene modes with previews. An editing interface allows users to customize effects, colors, speed, and transition timing, with options to save the custom scene.
3.4. Music Rhythm
When the music rhythm mode is turned on, the light string will synchronize with music in two ways: - Open the music App on the mobile phone controlling the light string, play music, and the light string will rhythm with the music. - If the mobile phone connected to the light string is not playing music, the mobile phone will pick up other sounds and follow the rhythm. Tip: If you leave the music rhythm mode, the rhythm will stop.

3.5. Plan
The owner can freely set the on/off time of the string light every day using the Plan function, which includes countdown timers.

Another screen displays device settings such as "Device Information", "Tap-to-Run and Automation", "Device Offline Notification", "Share Device", "Create Group", "FAQ & Feedback", "Add to Home Screen", "Check Device Network", and "Device Update".
Linking to Alexa/Google Assistant
To link Lumary Smart RGB String Lights to Alexa or Google Assistant:
Go to the Tuya/Smart Life App, click "Me", then "More" for instructions on linking Alexa/Google Assistant.
Note: If you choose "View more ways to link", click "Link with ACCOUNT Password", then follow the instruction video or the corresponding operation steps to complete the connection.

Cautions & Warnings
- If a second phone tries to connect, the original phone's connection will be automatically removed.
- Do not repair, disassemble, or modify the product without approval.
- Do not place the light near any heat sources.
- Please keep it away from children.
- Please keep the light dry and clean.
- Please do not hang anything from the string lights as the extra weight may break the light wire and cause a potential fire hazard.
- Although the lights are built with safety measures, it is not recommended to leave the light unattended or turning on permanently.
- Please pull off the plug when it is not in use.
- Please cut off the power before installing the bulb.
- If you want to connect more sets of string lights, you may need to change to a bigger power adapter.
