Setup Instructions
A. Setup by Brand Code
- Turn on the device you wish to control (e.g., Projector).
- Locate the brand name and the corresponding 3-digit code in the Device Brand Code List within this manual.
- Press and hold the SET button, then press the device button (e.g., PROJECTOR). The POWER LED on the remote will light up, indicating setup mode.
- Within 10 seconds, enter the 3-digit device code. If no input is made within 10 seconds, setup mode will exit.
- If the code is accepted, the LED will turn off. If the LED flashes twice, the code may be incorrect. Re-enter the code.
- Test the remote's functions. If most buttons do not work, try another 3-digit code for the same brand. Repeat steps 3-6 until basic functions work correctly.
Note: To exit setup mode, press the device button (e.g., PROJECTOR). If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, setup mode will exit automatically.
B. Learning Setup
The learning function allows you to copy commands from an original remote control. Ensure both the learning remote and the original remote have fresh batteries.
- Press and hold the LEARN button, then press the device button (e.g., DVD). Release both buttons. The POWER LED will flash, indicating the remote is in learning mode for that device.
- Press and release the target button on the remote you want to learn from (e.g., POWER). The device button on the learning remote will light up.
- Point the original remote's IR emitter at the learning remote's IR receiver (approximately 30mm distance).
- Press and hold the desired button on the original remote until the learning remote's LED flashes twice and stays lit for 2 seconds, then flashes again. This confirms the code has been learned, and the remote is ready for the next command.
- If the learning fails, the LED will flash 4 times, stay lit for 2 seconds, then flash again. This indicates the code was not learned, and the remote is ready for another attempt.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to learn more commands.
Notes: To exit learning mode, press and release the LEARN button. Maintain a distance of no more than 30mm between remotes and keep them aligned. If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, learning mode will exit. You can delete learned commands by pressing SET and 4 simultaneously (select the device first). The last learned signal overwrites the previous one. The remote can store up to 14 commands per device.
C. Device Code Write Protection
To prevent accidental overwriting or deletion of device codes:
- Press the desired device button (e.g., PROJECTOR).
- Press and hold the SET button, then press the 7 key. Release both keys. The LED will flash twice, indicating the code is now protected.
To cancel write protection, press and hold SET and then press the 8 key. Release both keys. The LED will flash twice, indicating protection is removed.

To delete all codes stored in the remote, press and hold the SET button, then press and hold the 0 key for over 3 seconds. Release both keys. The LED will flash twice, indicating all settings and learned commands have been deleted.
