1 Introduction
This remote control is designed to operate most Digital, Analog Cable boxes, IPTV set top boxes and TVs.
2 Replacing Batteries
Before you program or operate the remote control, you must install two new AA alkaline batteries.
- Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of your remote control.
- Check battery polarity carefully, and install the batteries as shown in the illustration below. [Illustration: Two AA alkaline batteries should be inserted with correct polarity.]
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
3 Button Functions
Description of the remote control layout and button functions:
- TV, CBL: Used to select the Device you want to operate and signals remote control activity.
- ALL OFF: Designed to send Power On/Off commands for up to two Components with one button press.
- SETTINGS/MENU: Displays the settings menu.
- OK/SEL: Selects highlighted screen options.
- INFO: Displays information about the program currently playing or highlighted in the program guide.
- EXIT: Exit from current screen.
- A, B, C, D: Make direct selections from on-screen menus.
- INPUT: Selects the video source from available video components.
- VOL +/-: Raises or lowers the sound level.
- MUTE: Silences the audio. Press to activate. Press this key again to restore sound to previous level.
- CH +/-: Selects the next higher or lower channel.
- PAGE +/-: Accesses pages above or below the information currently displayed.
- LANGUAGE: Change the language.
- FAV: Displays favorite channel.
- NUMBER Pad: Enter numbers to tune to channels. Also make numeric entries on on-screen menus. You can also use the CH +/- and the guide as alternate ways to tune to channels.
- Macro Button: For future use.
4 Programming the Remote Control
When instructed to press a [DEVICE] button, press either the CBL or TV button, depending on which device you are programming the remote to operate.
A. Quick Set-Up Method
Refer to the Section B Quick Set-up table of codes.
- Turn on the component you want to program (e.g., your TV).
- Press and hold the [DEVICE] key for 5 seconds until the Device LED blinks once and stays on. Continue to hold the [DEVICE] key and press the number key assigned to your brand in the Quick Setup Code Table. Release both [DEVICE] key and the number key to save the code. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code is stored.
- Point the remote control at the component.
- Press the power button. If it turns off, it is programmed for your component. If it does not turn off, use the Pre-Programmed 3-Digit code Method or Scanning Method. Repeat the steps above for all components (CBL, TV).
B. Quick Set-up Code Tables
These tables provide quick setup codes for various brands.
CBL Quick Set-up Codes:
- 0: PACE DTA

C. Manual Programming
Program the remote by entering a three-digit code number corresponding to your equipment's brand and model.
- Turn on the equipment (Cable Box or TV).
- Press and hold the [DEVICE] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The corresponding device LED will turn on, indicating it's ready for programming (stays on for 30 seconds).
- Point the remote control at the equipment and enter the three-digit code number for your brand from the code tables. If multiple codes exist for your brand, try them one by one until the equipment turns off.
- Verify the code by pressing the [POWER] button. The equipment should turn back on. Test other functions (volume, mute) to ensure correct operation. If not, repeat from step 3 with the next code.
- Store the code by pressing the same [DEVICE] button again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm.
D. Auto Search Method
Use this method if manual codes don't work or your brand isn't listed.
- Turn on the equipment (Cable Box or TV).
- Press and hold the [DEVICE] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on (stays on for 30 seconds).
- Press the [CH] or [CH] button repeatedly or hold it down. The remote will send Power ON/OFF code signals. Release the button as soon as the equipment turns off.
- Verify the code by pressing the [POWER] button. The equipment should turn back on. Test other functions. If not, repeat from step 3 to continue searching.
- Press the same [DEVICE] button to store the code. The device LED will blink twice to confirm.
E. Programming the All Off Button
Program the [ALL OFF] button to send up to two power On/Off commands with a single press.
- Press the [CBL] button.
- Press the [ALL OFF] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button LED will turn on for 30 seconds.
- Press the first [Device] button you want to store in the [ALL OFF] button, then press the [POWER] button. Repeat for other devices.
- Press the [CH5] button to save the power commands. The [CBL] button LED will blink twice to confirm.
F. Programming Volume Control
By default, VOL+/- and MUTE control the TV. To control another device:
- Press the [OK/SEL] button and [CBL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on (stays on for 30 seconds).
- Press the [VOL+] button. The device LED will blink.
- Press the [DEVICE] button corresponding to the device you want volume/mute to control. The device LED will blink twice to confirm. (To control Cable Box, press [CBL] in this step).
G. Programming Channel Control
By default, CH5/CH6 control the Cable Box. To control another device:
- Press the [OK/SEL] button and [CBL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on (stays on for 30 seconds).
- Press the [VOL-] button. The device LED will blink.
- Press the [TV] button. The device LED will blink twice to confirm. (To control Cable Box, press [CBL] in this step).
H. Memory Lock System
This remote control is designed to retain programmed memory for 10 years, even after batteries are removed.

5 Setup Code Tables
