Choose your cleaning mode
There are three cleaning modes for the robot, selectable through the APP:
Mode Type | Features |
---|---|
Smart Mode | The robot automatically adjusts its skimming runtime and frequency based on current weather to maintain optimal skimming performance throughout the day. |
Standard Mode | The robot continuously skims until the battery is very low. It will restart working when the battery is full. |
Remote Control | Control the robot remotely to skim a specific area. |
Notes:
- The default skimming mode is Smart Mode.
- In Smart Mode, the robot runs for a fixed time and then stops for charging.
Run your new WYBOT F1
Hold the handle of the robot and place it horizontally onto the pool surface.
The robot will start working in a programmed path.
Illustration showing how to place the robot in the pool.
The robot will start solar-charging on the surface when completing skimming or when the battery is low.
Notes:
- Before skimming, adjust the inlet mouth direction towards the bottom to avoid influencing the robot's movement.
- The minimum water depth must be at least 70mm (2.8in) to prevent the robot from getting stuck.
- If the robot shows a flashing blue and red light, it may need assistance to free itself from obstacles.
Prevent your WYBOT F1 from stuck
If your pool has shallow steps or structures where the water depth is less than 70mm (2.8in), the robotic skimmer may get stuck. In this case, you can lower the anti-stranding bars at the bottom to prevent it from getting stuck.
Illustration showing how to adjust anti-stranding bars.
Hold the bottom of the anti-stranding bar and pinch the horizontal section at the base. Pull it downward to adjust the extension height.
Notes:
- There are four extension height adjustment sections for the anti-stranding bars, each approximately 10mm (0.39 inches).
- If you do not need to extend the height, push the extended part upward to return it to the desired position.
Filter Cleaning
Follow these steps to clean the filter drawer:
- Remotely control the robot to the pool side or call it to dock by clicking the "Back to dock" button on the App.
- Hold the handle of the filter drawer and pull the drawer out.
- Uncover the filter drawer and shake out all the debris.
- Rinse the filter drawer with clean water.
- After rinsing, push the filter drawer back until you hear a click sound.
Illustration sequence for filter cleaning.
Note: Please double-check the direction of the filter drawer. The handle should always be at the bottom. Incorrect direction will decrease the skimming effect.
When removing the filter from the robot on the deck, maintain your balance to prevent injury.
