Safety Instructions

Warning

⚠️ Read the manual carefully before you use the cleaner. Your safety is the most important thing. Please read through and operate the device as per instructions. WYBOTICS Co., Ltd. is not held liable for any loss or injury caused by improper use.

Failure to operate the device as per the warnings can result in serious injury, electrocution, or death.

  1. Use only the accessories recommended or sold by WYBOTICS Co., Ltd.
  2. Use only the original and authorized charger. Avoid charging any other types of devices with this charger. Improper use may result in overheating or corrosive liquid leakage from the battery.
  3. Power off the robot when doing any maintenance or removing it from the pool.
  4. Ensure the charging port is dry before plugging in the charger end.
  5. Make sure the electrical outlet is protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and an earth leakage interrupter (ELI).
  6. Do not use a cord-damaged charger to avoid any electrical shock.
  7. Do not try to use a non-authorized extension cord to connect the charger to the robot.
  8. Never allow children to ride on the cleaner/docking station or play with it as a toy.
  9. Do not allow children to operate or maintain the device or docking station.
  10. Do not enter the pool when the robot is working in it.
  11. Never expose or charge the device in flammable environments.
  12. Only licensed professionals can disassemble the sealed parts of the robot.

Cautions

Failure to operate the device as per the cautions can cause damage to the device.

  1. Store the robot in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunshine or any heat source.
  2. Keep the robot in the pool while charging it with the solar power.
  3. Remember to wash and clean the filter drawer after each use.
  4. Avoid using a pressure washer to clean the solar panel as it may damage the panel.
  5. Use only the pool robot in the following water conditions:
    • Chlorine: Max 4 mg/L
    • pH: 7.0 - 7.8
    • Temperature: 41-95°F (5-35°C)
    • NaCl: Maximum 5000 PPM

Note: Before inserting the charger end into the charging port, ensure the port is dry. Leave the device in a cool place when charging via a power outlet.

Get Started

Charge your new WYBOT F1

The robot has a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. You can charge it via a charger (not included) or solar power.

DC Charging: Uncover the charging port and insert the charger end. Wait for a full charge.

The LED indicator will show a flashing green light when charging and a solid light when fully charged.

Note for DC Charging:

Solar Charging: Press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds to power on the robot. Place it horizontally on the pool surface in sunlight. The robot will start charging automatically.

Setup your new WYBOT F1

Turn on the device by pressing the on/off button. You will hear a beep sound, and the LED indicator will display a solid blue light when it is on.

When the battery level is too low to start cleaning, the LED lights will show a flashing yellow light.

If charged by solar, it will automatically start skimming on the surface.

Choose your cleaning mode

There are three cleaning modes for the robot, selectable through the APP:

Smart ModeThe robot automatically adjusts its skimming runtime and frequency based on current weather to maintain optimal skimming performance throughout the day.
Standard ModeThe robot continuously skims until the battery is very low. It will restart working when the battery is full.
Remote ControlControl the robot remotely to skim a specific area.

Notes:

Run your new WYBOT F1

Hold the handle of the robot and place it horizontally onto the pool surface.

The robot will start working in a programmed path.

The robot will start solar-charging on the surface when completing skimming or when the battery is low.

Notes:

Prevent your WYBOT F1 from stuck

If your pool has shallow steps or structures where the water depth is less than 70mm (2.8in), the robotic skimmer may get stuck. In this case, you can lower the anti-stranding bars at the bottom to prevent it from getting stuck.

Hold the bottom of the anti-stranding bar and pinch the horizontal section at the base. Pull it downward to adjust the extension height.

Notes:

Filter Cleaning

Follow these steps to clean the filter drawer:

  1. Remotely control the robot to the pool side or call it to dock by clicking the "Back to dock" button on the App.
  2. Hold the handle of the filter drawer and pull the drawer out.
  3. Uncover the filter drawer and shake out all the debris.
  4. Rinse the filter drawer with clean water.
  5. After rinsing, push the filter drawer back until you hear a click sound.

Note: Please double-check the direction of the filter drawer. The handle should always be at the bottom. Incorrect direction will decrease the skimming effect.

When removing the filter from the robot on the deck, maintain your balance to prevent injury.

  4. The order number or record must be presented for any claim or repair within the warranty period.
