Thermaltake Power Supply Product Warranty
Limited Warranty
Thermaltake warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period, provided normal, proper, and intended usage. If a product proves to be defective, Thermaltake will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with the same or a similar product. The warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original customer. Thermaltake products purchased from auction sites, rent-to-own sites, or private sellers (e.g., eBay, Amazon third-party sellers) are not honored.
What Is and Is Not Covered Under the Warranty
This warranty is not an unconditional guarantee. If a product malfunctions within the warranty period, Thermaltake will, at its discretion, repair or replace it with an equal or greater value item. Replaced parts become Thermaltake property. The warranty does not cover software components or products damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or usage not in accordance with product specifications.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, natural disasters (earthquake, thunder), unusual voltage, or environmental factors.
- Damages unrelated to manufacturing defects.
- Unsuitable environments or product use as determined by Thermaltake.
- Products modified without official permission, or with defaced, modified, or removed serial numbers or warranty stickers.
- Damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, commercial/industrial use, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions.
- Third-party products used with Thermaltake components. Contact the vendor or manufacturer for servicing.
- Repair or attempted repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Shipment damages (claims must be made with the carrier).
- Display samples, open box, used, or refurbished items.
- Unauthorized repairs void the warranty. Thermaltake reserves the right to refuse service for products altered, modified, or repaired by non-Thermaltake personnel.
- Thermaltake does not warrant that the product meets customer requirements; suitability is the customer's responsibility.
- Removal or installation charges.
- Customer is responsible for shipping costs to Thermaltake; Thermaltake covers return shipping.
- Thermaltake reserves the right to replace the product with a service product at its discretion.
- Items from different regions requested under Thermaltake USA's warranty are subject to its terms and conditions.
- Thermaltake items not carried by Thermaltake USA will be replaced with equivalent items based on specifications at Thermaltake's discretion.
- Limited edition items may be unavailable due to scarcity; Thermaltake USA reserves the right to replace them with items of equivalent specifications.
Limitations of Implied Warranties
There are no other oral or written warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Implied warranties are limited to the warranty length specified in Paragraph I.
Proof of Purchase
Warranty service requires proof of purchase (store receipt or invoice). Users must provide this unless otherwise permitted.
Exclusion of Damages (Disclaimer)
Thermaltake's sole obligation and liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of a defective product. Thermaltake is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of service, data, or business, or tort liability related to the product's use or possession.
