Getting started

Power modes

The machine offers three power modes to suit different tasks and floor types:

  • Maximum suction: For intensive cleaning of ground-in dirt.
  • Suction mode 2: Provides an optimum balance of power and run time.
  • Suction mode 1: Maximizes run time for longer cleaning sessions.

To attach the wand and cleaner head, align them and push together until they click. [click]

Caring for your floors

Ensure the underside of the cleaner head or tool is clean and free from objects that could cause damage. Always check the manufacturer's recommended cleaning instructions for your flooring, rugs, and carpets before vacuuming. Be aware that the brush bar can damage certain carpet types and floors. If carpets fuzz when using a rotating brush bar, it is recommended to vacuum without the motorised floor tool and consult your flooring manufacturer.

Charging your machine

Connect the charger directly to the machine or use the dock. The machine will not operate or charge if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F) to protect the motor and battery.

The LED lights on the machine indicate the charge level:

  • Charging, low charge: [LED flashing]
  • Charging, medium charge: [LED half illuminated]
  • Charging, nearly full: [LED almost full]
  • Fully charged: [LED solid]

A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Emptying your bin

Empty the bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level; do not overfill, as this can affect performance and require more frequent filter washing.

Removing the wand

Press the red wand release button on top of the wand and pull it away from the bin. [click]

Releasing the dirt

Hold the machine over a bin, pointing downwards. Firmly push the red bin release button. The bin will slide down, cleaning the shroud, and the bin base will open. Ensure the button is fully pressed for the base to open.

Minimising dust contact

To minimize dust exposure, cover the bin tightly in a dust-proof bag while emptying. Carefully remove the bin, seal the bag, and dispose of it.

Closing the bin

Push the bin base upwards until the bin and bin base click into place. [click]

Cleaning your bin

If necessary, empty the bin as described previously. Press the red button on the bin runner to release the bin and slide it off. Clean the bin with a damp, lint-free cloth only. Ensure the bin and seals are completely dry before reattaching.

Refitting your bin

Insert the spine onto the bin runner. Push the bin base upwards until it clicks into place. [click]

Note: The bin is not dishwasher safe. Avoid detergents, polishes, or air fresheners, as they may damage the machine.

Clearing blockages

Disconnect the machine from the charger before checking for blockages. Be aware of sharp objects and avoid touching the power button. Allow the machine to cool down before checking for blockages.

If a blockage is detected, the motor will pulse six times [motor pulsing]. The machine cannot be used until the blockage is cleared. Attempting to use the machine while it is pulsing will cause it to cut out automatically.

For safety, ensure the machine has cooled down and take care not to touch the trigger when checking for blockages.

Clearing obstructions from your Motorbar™ cleaner head

The Motorbar™ cleaner head does not have a washable brush bar. Regularly check and clear any obstructions to maintain optimum performance.

Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger and avoid touching the trigger.

Removing the brush bar

Do not put any part of the machine in a dishwasher, or use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners. Use a coin to unlock the end cap by turning it 180° anticlockwise. Remove the end cap and slide the brush bar out of the cleaner head. Do not wash the end cap.

Clearing obstructions

Clear any debris from the brush bar. Check inside the cleaner head for debris or blockages. Wipe the cleaner head and brush bar with a damp, lint-free cloth. They are not washable.

Replacing the brush bar

Push the end cap back onto the brush bar and slide it back into the cleaner head. Turn the end cap to the locked position. The cleaner head is not washable and should only be wiped with a damp, lint-free cloth.

The Mini motorised tool does not have a washable brush bar. Regularly check and clear any obstructions to maintain optimum performance.

Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger and avoid touching the trigger.

Washing your filter

Wash your filter at least once a month to maintain optimum suction power. The filter LED on the top of the battery will illuminate when the filter needs cleaning. If the LED flashes, the filter is not fitted correctly.

Twisting off the filter

Twist your filter anti-clockwise and pull it away from your machine. [click]

Tapping the filter

Before washing, tap the filter gently over a bin to remove loose dust and debris.

Washing the filter

Wash with warm, running tap water, gently rubbing the filter with your fingers to remove dirt.

Filling and shaking

Fill the filter with warm tap water. Place your hand over the open end and shake firmly to remove trapped dirt and debris. Repeat until the water runs clear.

Shaking and drying

Empty the filter and shake firmly to remove excess water. Continue shaking until no more water comes out. Place the filter upright and leave it to dry completely for at least 24 hours in a well-ventilated, warm place. Do not dry the filter in a tumble dryer, microwave, or near a naked flame. It is crucial that the filter is completely dry before reinserting it into the machine, as a damp filter can cause damage.

Washing your Fluffy™ brush bars

Your machine has two washable brush bars. Check and wash them regularly for optimum performance.

Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger and avoid touching the trigger.

Removing your brush bars

Do not put brush bars in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, or near a naked flame. Wash only with cold water and no detergents.

Turn the cleaner head upside down. Use a coin to turn the end cap lock 180° anticlockwise until it unlocks. Push the end cap to the open position and slide the brush bar out. Remove the end cap from the brush bar and do not wash it. Lift the smaller brush bar out of the cleaner head.

Washing and drying your brush bars

Hold brush bars under running water and gently rub to remove lint or dirt. Stand brush bars upright and leave to dry completely for at least 24 hours. [24 hrs]

Replacing your brush bars

Before replacing, ensure brush bars are completely dry. Refit the small brush bar first, inserting the round end and pushing the octagonal end until it clicks. Reattach the end cap to the main brush bar. Slide the main brush bar into the cleaner head and push the end cap down to the closed position. Turn the end cap lock 180° clockwise to lock it. Check that the fastener and brush bars are secure.
