TFA VISION Digital Window Thermometer

Features

  • Clear functional design
  • Easy reading of the outside temperature from the inside
  • Maximum and minimum values with auto reset
  • Easy to fix, demountable for window cleaning
  • Weather resistant

Operation and Installation

Operation: To begin, open the battery compartment with a screwdriver and remove the battery insulation strip. Close the compartment carefully. Remove the protective films from both sides of the display. The device is now ready for use. The upper display shows the maximum temperature, the middle display shows the current temperature, and the lower display shows the minimum temperature.

Important Note: Due to heat emission and the protected location of your window, the temperature displayed on your VISION thermometer may be higher than the actual outdoor temperature in an unsheltered location.

MAX/MIN Temperatures: Maximum temperatures are automatically reset at 8:00 AM, and minimum temperatures at 8:00 PM. Ensure the current time is set correctly for this feature.

Setting the Clock: Press the MODE button to enter setting mode. Use the "+" button to set the hours (hold for faster counting). Press MODE again to set the minutes. Press MODE once more to return to normal mode.

Installation: Clean the window glass thoroughly before attaching the holder with the enclosed adhesive on the outside of the window. The thermometer can then be easily hung up and removed.

Display Protection: Avoid direct sunlight, as it can falsify readings and potentially damage the display or fade the liquid crystals. A plastic plate is included for improved UV and rain protection, and better display readability, especially in low light. It is recommended for locations exposed to weather or strong sunlight. Insert this plate into the provided slots behind the display. Handle the display with care; do not pull or bend it when removing the plate or the thermometer.

Battery Replacement

When the display becomes weak, replace the battery. Remove the thermometer from its holder. Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver, remove the old battery, and insert a new 1.5V AAA alkaline battery, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment carefully.
