SETUP & PREPARATION
1. ASSEMBLY
WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY.
Integrated Extension Table
- Ensure the extension table rods align with the holes in the table and the plastic eyelets. Adjust the small knobs underneath the table to align with the rods.
- After fitting the extension table, lift it up and fit the supplied caps into the end of the rods. Screw into place.
- Unfold legs. Once the extension table is at the desired distance, use the extension table lock knobs (front & rear) to lock the table into position.
Blade Guard
- Mount the blade guard on the riving knife so the bolt fits through the hole in the riving knife.
- Do not overtighten the nut; the blade guard must be able to move up and down freely.
Rip Fence
- Loosen the two nuts sufficiently to allow the extrusion to slide onto and along the rip fence.
- Place the rip fence on the table top, either the left or right hand side of the blade.
- Screw the rip fence lock knob through the fence and into the metal plate on each end.
- Tighten the lock knob to secure in place.
SET-UP AND ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS.
Ensure the table saw is set up on a level work bench or sturdy table. The base has four bench mounting holes for securing to a workbench using screws or bolts (not included).
Mitre Gauge
- Insert the mitre gauge into the table slot from the table's front edge.
- Loosen the locking handle, turn the mitre gauge to the required angle, and then tighten. The mitre gauge can turn to 60° in both directions.
Rip Fence
- Loosen both rip fence lock knobs.
- Use the scale on the table top as a guide to slide the rip fence to the required width. Note: The rip fence must be parallel with the saw blade before being locked into position.
- Tighten the rip fence lock knobs to clamp the fence in position. Loosening the rip fence extrusion locks allows the fence extrusion to be removed or shifted.
Depth Of Cut
Adjust the depth of cut by turning the blade depth knob. Turning anti-clockwise increases cutting depth, while clockwise decreases it. The blade guard should rest with its front edge on the workpiece. The saw blade's cutting height needs to be adjusted to the workpiece height.
Angle Of Cut (Bevel)
- Loosen the bevel lock knob anti-clockwise.
- Rotate the handwheel until the desired bevel angle is found.
- Lock the bevel angle by rotating the bevel lock knob clockwise.
Integrated Extension Table
- Loosen the two locking knobs located on the front and rear of the table.
- Slide the extension table to the desired distance to support a larger workpiece.
- Tighten both locking knobs (front & rear) to secure in place.
OPERATION
3. OPERATING THE TABLE SAW
CAUTION! DO NOT USE THE TABLE SAW TO CUT METAL OR MASONRY.
The tool is recommended for use with a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30mA or less.
Turning On and Off
- To turn the table saw ON, slide the safety stop knob up and lift the safety cover.
- Depress the green button ("I") to start.
- To Stop, depress the red button ("O") or firmly depress the safety stop knob.
Overload Protection
If the motor is overloaded, a thermal overload protection will trip. After the table saw cools down, press the Reset button, then the green On button ("I") to restart.
Push Stick
Use the push stick to protect against accidental contact with the saw blade.
Workpiece
Set the saw blade to the required cutting depth. The blade guard must rest with its front edge on the workpiece. Before performing a cut, ensure the blade is at full speed. Failure to do this may cause the blade to become blunt and lock-up.
Place the workpiece flat on the table top with one edge pressed against the rip fence. After making a cut, push the workpiece in a steady motion towards the rear.
When cutting using the mitre gauge, place the workpiece flat on the table top with one edge pressed against the mitre gauge.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: BEFORE CLEANING OR CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE, ENSURE THE MOTOR IS OFF AND THE TOOL IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL STARTING.
Changing the Blade
CAUTION! NEVER USE A BLADE LARGER THAN THE TABLE SAW'S CAPACITY. IT MAY CONTACT GUARDS AND CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE. THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
CAUTION! NEVER USE A BLADE TOO THICK TO ALLOW THE OUTER BLADE WASHER TO ENGAGE WITH THE SPINDLE FLATS. THIS PREVENTS THE BLADE NUT FROM PROPERLY SECURING THE BLADE.
CAUTION! ENSURE ANY SPACERS AND SPINDLE RINGS ARE SUITABLE FOR THE SPINDLE AND BLADE.
- Ensure the table saw plug is disconnected from the power supply.
- Lower the saw blade fully.
- Remove the side panel by removing the 4 screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Remove the 4 screws from the blade cover, then remove the blade cover.
- Using the 8mm spanner to hold the spindle, undo the blade nut by turning anti-clockwise with the 19mm spanner.
- Remove the nut and outer flange.
- Carefully remove the blade from the shaft.
- Clean out any dirt or sawdust.
- Fit the new blade onto the spindle, ensuring the inner flange sits behind the blade.
- Refit the outer flange and nut onto the spindle.
WARNING! TO ENSURE CORRECT BLADE ROTATION, INSTALL THE BLADE WITH TEETH POINTING IN THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION. ENSURE THE ARROW ON THE BLADE CORRESPONDS WITH THE ARROW ON THE BLADE COVER.
Use the 8mm spanner to hold the spindle and tighten the blade nut by turning clockwise with the 19mm spanner. Ensure the saw blade turns freely by hand before use.
Repeat steps 3-4 in reverse order for blade cover and side panel assembly.
Carbon Brushes
When carbon brushes wear out, the table saw may spark or stop. Discontinue use and replace them. Carbon brushes are a wearing component and are not covered under warranty. Continuing to use the tool with worn brushes may cause permanent damage. For replacement, take the table saw to an electrician or qualified power tool repairer. Always replace both carbon brushes at the same time.
Note: Ozito Industries is not responsible for damage or injuries caused by repairs by unauthorized persons or mishandling.
A small amount of sparking visible through housing air vents is normal and does not indicate a problem.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! When using mains-powered tools, follow basic safety precautions to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury, and material damage.
Read the manual carefully and know how to switch off in an emergency. Save these instructions.
The electric motor is designed for 230V and 240V only. Check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. Ozito tools' 230V and 240V supplies are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand.
This tool is double insulated (AS/NZS 60335-1); no earth wire is required. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or power tool repairer to avoid a hazard.
Double insulation provides added protection against injury from possible electrical insulation failure but does not replace normal safety precautions.
Using an Extension Lead
Always use an approved extension lead suitable for the tool's power input. Inspect extension leads for damage before use. Replace if damaged or defective. Always unwind extension leads completely from reels. Using unsuitable or damaged extension leads may result in fire and electric shock.
