III. Wearing Instructions
Proper helmet wearing is crucial for safety and function:
- Incorrect Fit 1: Straps are too loose or positioned incorrectly, not covering the ears or chin properly.
- Incorrect Fit 2: Helmet is tilted too far back or forward, not covering the forehead adequately.
- Correct Fit: The helmet sits level on the head, covering the forehead and not obstructing vision.
Adjustment Steps:
- Adjust the length of the chinstrap to ensure a snug fit.
- Ensure there is a gap as thick as one finger between the chinstrap and your chin.
- Correctly position the helmet on your head for optimal protection.
- Check whether the buckle is properly fastened and secure.
IV. Power and Lighting Functions
Power On
Hold the ⏻ button at the back of the helmet for 2 seconds. The LED taillight will blink for 10 seconds, indicating the helmet has entered adaptive warning light mode.
Battery Check: Upon powering on, you can check the remaining battery level by the number of tail lights illuminated (all 7 lights indicate full power).
Power Off
Hold the ⏻ button at the back of the helmet for 2 seconds until all LED taillights turn off.
Lighting Modes
After powering on, press the ⏻ button for one second to cycle through three lighting modes:
- Adaptive warning mode A
- Adaptive warning mode B
- Keep warning light always on
Adaptive Warning Lighting
2 seconds after powering on, press the ⏻ button (less than 1 second) to activate adaptive warning lighting. In daylight or bright environments, only the central LED flashes, while others turn off. At night or in dark environments, the entire taillight flashes.
Lighting Always on Mode
In daytime or bright environments, the entire taillight will continuously flash.
Brake Warning Light
When the helmet detects significant deceleration, the entire taillight will illuminate for 1-2 seconds to warn following vehicles.
Note: If the helmet shakes excessively, the built-in sensor may detect this as deceleration and trigger the warning light, which is normal.
V. Automatic Functions
Auto Power-off
If the helmet remains stationary for 20 minutes, it will automatically power off.
Auto Power-on
When the helmet battery is charged, shake the helmet a few times. It will power on automatically. (This function is disabled by default; it can be activated in the LIVALL Riding App settings).

To charge the helmet:
- Open the soft rubber lid covering the charging port.
- Connect the magnetic USB cable to the helmet's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable power adapter (5V / >1A).

IX. Considerations and Care
- The helmet contains electronic parts. Avoid prolonged rides in heavy rain, though it offers splash protection.
- After rain, water droplets may appear inside the tail LED lights; these will disappear when the helmet is placed in a ventilated environment for 1-2 days.
- Battery capacity varies with temperature; battery life may decrease at low temperatures (below 0°C).
- Do not clean the golden charging contacts with metal or hard tools. Use cotton swabs with clean water or alcohol. Ensure the charging port is clean before charging.
- If electronic functions fail, charge the helmet for 3 hours and check again.
- The built-in battery must not be disassembled, squeezed, heated, or burned. Do not use sharp tools to pry it apart, as this may cause fire.
- Do not place the helmet on sharp objects to avoid damage.
- The helmet has impact detection sensors. The SOS alert feature is triggered by a heavy impact when connected to the LIVALL Riding App, and your selected emergency contacts will receive an SOS message with your location.
- Note: Network anomalies may affect SOS message transmission. Fully charge the helmet before long-term storage (six months to one year) for optimal battery life.
Instructions for Use and Care:
- The helmet provides protection only if it fits correctly. Try different sizes to find a secure and comfortable fit.
- Adjust the straps so they do not cover the ears, the buckle is positioned away from the jawbone, and the straps are adjusted for comfort and firmness.
- Position the helmet correctly on your head to ensure intended protection (covering the forehead, not too far back).
- A helmet cannot always protect against all injuries.
- Discard and destroy the helmet after a severe impact.
- Do not modify or remove original components. Do not adapt the helmet for accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
