IV. Operation Instructions
Turn On Your Helmet
For the first time to use, press the power on button ? located at the back of the helmet. The tail lights illuminating indicate the smart helmet is on.
Note: If it cannot be activated successfully, please charge it and try again.
Battery Status
Remaining battery level is shown by the number of light beads in the middle of the tail, displayed when the helmet is initially turned on. Full battery is indicated when all light beads are on.
Connect the Remote Control BR80 (Control the Turning Signals)
1) First connection
Turn on the BR80. Within a distance of 30cm [approx. 1 foot] between the BR80 and the helmet, it will automatically connect to the helmet.
2) Replacing device (When the original BR80 lost or damaged)
Put the powered-on BR80 close to the helmet's main control. The warning light will flash three times per second, indicating that a BR80 needs to be connected. Press the helmet's power button within 10 seconds to confirm the connection. The tail light will continue to flash in its previous mode. After successful connection, left and right turn signals can be controlled by the BR80.
Note: Turn signals are controlled by the BR80's left (L) and right (R) buttons. Other buttons on the BR80 are not needed for this function.
Automatic Standby
After the helmet powers on and remains stationary for a while, it will enter sleep mode to save power. The tail light will turn off.
Automatic Wake Up
To wake up the helmet, shake it several times until the tail lights illuminate.
Note: If the helmet does not wake up, ensure the battery levels are adequate.
Adaptive lighting
(This feature is enabled by default and can be adjusted via the app.) When the helmet is powered on during the day or in bright conditions, only the central LED light will flash, and other LED lights will turn off. During the night or in dark environments, the entire taillight will flash.
Lighting Mode
After the helmet is turned on, press the power button for one second to switch between three lighting modes.
Brake warning light
When the helmet detects smooth deceleration, the whole taillight will light up for several seconds to warn vehicles behind.
Note: If the helmet shakes heavily, the built-in sensor may detect significant deceleration, causing the warning light to stay on, which is normal.
Connect With Your Phone
- Download the LIVALL Riding App from your smartphone app store.
- Turn on Bluetooth ? on your phone and turn on the helmet.
- In the LIVALL Riding app, tap "Device", then tap "Helmet". Pair the helmet with your phone through the app. After a successful connection, "Helmet" will display "EVO21".
Tip: For a stable Bluetooth connection while riding, use a smartphone holder and place the phone on your handlebars.
SOS Alert (requires connection to LIVALL Riding APP)
The helmet has a fall detection sensor. When a fall is detected, it sends a signal to the LIVALL Riding APP via Bluetooth technology. The APP then sends an SOS message to a pre-arranged emergency contact.
Power off
Hold the power button ? at the back of the helmet for several seconds until all LED taillights turn off.
Charge
Open the soft rubber lid ?️ to reveal the Magnetic charging port ?. Insert a USB cable into the helmet's charging interface. Charging begins when the middle area LEDs light up. Charging is complete when the middle area LEDs stop blinking and turn off.

V. Considerations
- The helmet contains electronic parts. Avoid long rides in the rain, though the helmet offers splash protection.
- If the helmet gets wet, water droplets may appear in the tail LED light chimneys. These will disappear when the helmet is placed in a ventilated environment for 1-2 days.
- The helmet contains a battery whose capacity varies with temperature. Battery life may decrease at low temperatures or below 0°C.
- If electronic functions are not working, charge the helmet for 3 hours and check again.
- The helmet contains impact detection devices. The SOS alert feature is triggered only if you connect your helmet with the LIVALL Riding App and start ride mode. Your designated emergency contacts will receive SOS messages.
- Cleaning the golden contacts of the charging plug sheet with metal or hard tools (like blades or tweezers) is strictly forbidden. Use cotton swabs with clean water or alcohol. Ensure the charging plug is clean before charging.
- The built-in battery must not be disassembled, squeezed, heated, or burned. Do not use sharp devices to puncture or pry the battery, as this could cause it to catch fire.
- Do not place the helmet with sharp objects to avoid damage.
Note: 1. Network anomalies may prevent successful sending or receiving of SOS messages. 2. To maintain battery life, it is recommended to fully charge the helmet before long-term storage (six months to one year).
