Helmet Components
The helmet features a Visor, Chinstrap, Tension adjuster, Taillight, Magnetic USB charging port, and a Power Switch.
III. Wearing Instructions
Proper fit is crucial for safety and comfort. Ensure the helmet is positioned correctly:
- Incorrect Fit 1: Helmet is too high on the head, exposing the forehead.
- Incorrect Fit 2: Helmet is too low or loose, not providing adequate coverage.
- Correct Fit: The helmet sits level on the head, covering the forehead and providing a secure fit.
Follow these steps for adjustment:
- Adjust the length of the chinstrap so it fits snugly.
- Ensure there is a gap as thick as one finger between the chin and the chinstrap.
- Correctly position the helmet on your head to ensure intended protection, covering the forehead and not pushed too far back.
- Check that the buckle is properly fastened.
Power Operations
Power On
Hold the [Power Switch] button at the back of the helmet for 2 seconds. The LED taillight will blink for 10 seconds, indicating the helmet has entered adaptive warning light mode.
Battery Check: When powering on, you can check the remaining battery level by the number of tail lights illuminated; all 7 lights indicate full power.
Power Off
Hold the [Power Switch] button for 2 seconds until all LED taillights turn off.
Lighting Modes
After the helmet is powered on, press the [Power Switch] button for one second to cycle through three lighting modes:
- Adaptive warning mode A
- Adaptive warning mode B
- Keep warning light always on
Adaptive Warning Lighting
2 seconds after power on, press the [Power Switch] button (less than 1 second) to enter adaptive warning lighting mode. In daytime or bright environments, only the central LED will flash, and other LEDs will turn off automatically. At night or in dark environments, the entire taillight will flash automatically.
Lighting Always on Mode
In daytime or bright environments, the whole taillight will keep flashing.
Brake Warning Light
When the helmet detects clear deceleration, the whole taillight will light up for 1-2 seconds to warn vehicles behind. Note: Heavy shaking that simulates deceleration can also trigger this warning light.
Auto Power-off
The helmet will automatically power off if it remains stationary for 20 minutes.
Auto Power-on
When the helmet's battery is charged, shaking the helmet a few times will power it on automatically. This function is off by default; it can be activated in the LIVALL Riding App settings.
Charging
Open the soft rubber lid with the ? icon. Insert a USB cable into the helmet's USB charging port. Charging starts when the central LED blinks. Charging is completed when the central LED stops blinking and turns off.

V. Safety Considerations
- The helmet contains electronic parts. Avoid long rides in heavy rain, though it offers splash protection.
- If the helmet gets wet, water droplets may appear in the taillight area. These will disappear when the helmet is placed in a ventilated environment for 1-2 days.
- Battery capacity varies with temperature. Battery life may decrease at low temperatures or below zero degrees Celsius.
- Do not use metal tools like blades or tweezers to clean the golden charging contacts. Use cotton swabs with clean water or alcohol. Ensure the charging plug is clean and dry before charging.
- If electronic functions do not work, charge the helmet for 3 hours and check again.
- The built-in battery must not be disassembled, squeezed, heated, or burned. Do not use sharp devices to pry it apart, as this may cause fire.
- Avoid placing the helmet near sharp objects to prevent damage.
- The helmet contains impact detection devices. The SOS alert feature is triggered by a heavy impact when the helmet is connected to the LIVALL Riding App and in ride mode. Your emergency contacts set on the app will receive your SOS messages.
Notes: Network anomalies may prevent successful SOS message delivery. For long-term storage (six months to one year), ensure the helmet is fully charged to maintain battery life.
