Getting Started – Download MiniFinder Live
To start using your MiniFinder Watch, you first need to download the MiniFinder Live app. If you are reading this guide on your mobile, you can simply click the icons for Google Play or the App Store to go directly to the download page. Alternatively, you can open the App Store or Google Play manually and search for "MiniFinder Live" to install the app.
Introduction to MiniFinder Live
Welcome to MiniFinder Live – a system designed to offer real-time positioning, smart alarms, and valuable insights that enhance personal safety and independence. Together with the MiniFinder Watch, you gain access to intelligent alarm systems, notifications, and useful tools that support your safety and daily routine.
This manual provides step-by-step instructions on how to use MiniFinder Live effectively. Follow the instructions to get started and make the most of your experience.
Overview
Once the app is installed, the first step is to create an account. Tap on "Create Account", enter your email address, and create a password to get started.
After logging in, an overview of the app will be displayed, as shown on the right.

Menu
To open the quick menu, press the white MiniFinder button. This gives you quick access to important functions such as Tags, Geofence, and the Scanner tool.
For more options, use the main menu located in the top left corner of the screen. By tapping it, you can access your profile, devices, contacts, reminders, and much more.

Add New Device
To add a new device to your account, go to the menu in the top left corner of the screen and select "Devices". Then, tap the plus sign. You will now have the option to scan the barcode on your MiniFinder packaging to automatically fill in the IMEI number. If the packaging is not available, you can enter the IMEI number manually instead.
Choose a name for your device and finally tap "Add Device".

Choose Subscription
You will now be automatically redirected to the subscription selection page. Choose the subscription that best suits your needs and follow the steps to complete the purchase.
Device List
You will now find your device in the Device List, located under "Devices" in the main menu. By expanding the dropdown menu for your device (tap the arrow to the right), you will get access to several options, including:
- A. Show on Map – View the device's current position
- B. Device Settings – Adjust settings for positioning and alarms
- C. Profile – Edit device information
- D. Log – View event history
- E. Comments – Add comments related to the device
These tools help you manage your device easily.

Device Panel
The Device Panel provides valuable insights into the device's position history and movement patterns, giving you a clearer picture of activity over time.
To open the Device Panel, simply tap the device's icon directly on the map. This opens a detailed view with data such as recent routes, timestamps, and other important metrics.
From the panel, you can also:
- A. Share Position
- B. View History
- C. Add numbers to call
- D. Set alarms, such as SOS alarms, fall alarms, and low battery alarms

Device Settings
By tapping "Settings" in the Device Panel, you will be taken to a separate page where you can fine-tune various functions and settings. Here you can, among other things, adjust update intervals, configure alarms and notifications – all to optimize the device's performance according to your specific needs.
Alarm Notifications
To access your alarm notifications, tap the flashing bell icon in the top right corner of the screen. This section is divided into three categories:
- Alarm – Displays critical alarms that require immediate attention
- Notifications – Displays general system messages and updates
- History – Allows you to view all previous alarms and notifications retrospectively
In each category, you can choose to dismiss the alarm, view more information, or tap the pin icon to see the exact location of the event on the map.

Create a Geofence
To create a geofence, open "Geofence" from the quick menu. Choose whether you want to draw your own geofence using a polygon or a circle.
If you choose a polygon, mark the desired area by placing and connecting points on the map. Then, select which device you want to link to the geofence and define whether alarms should be triggered upon entry, exit, or both.
Finally, give your geofence a name, choose a color, and tap "Save".

Tags
Tags allow you to mark specific locations on the map that are important for your tracking solution. To create a tag, select "Tags" from the quick menu and move the cursor to the desired location on the map. Choose the type of tag, add a label, and fill in any additional information if needed. Tap "Save", and the tag will be displayed directly on the map.

Add a Contact
To see a contact on the map or share a position, you first need to add the person as a contact. Follow the steps below to add a new contact:
- Tap the menu in the top left corner and select "Contacts".
- Click the "Add Contact" icon, to the right of the search field. You will now have the option to sync contacts from your mobile phone – if you do not want to, select the "No thanks" option.
- Enter the email address or mobile number of the person you want to add in the search field and click the magnifying glass to search.
- When the correct contact is displayed, confirm that you want to add the person. Your contact request will be sent immediately.
- For you to be able to share positions or information from devices, the person must first approve your request.

Share Position with a Contact
Sharing a position with a relative, colleague, or friend can increase safety and facilitate communication. To share a position with a contact in the app, start by tapping the menu in the left corner. Then go to "Contacts" and select the person you want to share your position with.
When you have opened the contact, choose whether you want to share your own position or the position of a specific device. You can also choose to give the person full access, which means the contact will have access to all available information linked to the device. Once you have confirmed the settings, the position is shared and visible to the recipient.

Reminder
MiniFinder Live includes a built-in calendar function that helps you stay organized. To create a reminder, tap the menu and select "Reminder". Here you can schedule important events such as medication reminders, daily routines, or other tasks.
Select the date, specify how often the reminder should repeat, and tap "Save". Your reminder will now appear in the calendar and help you easily keep track of important activities.

Memory
The device is equipped with a built-in 64 MB flash memory. This memory stores GPS data when GSM coverage is missing – for example, in rural areas, indoors, or underground. The stored position information is automatically transferred as soon as GSM coverage is available again.
