Hardware Overview
A (Charging): To charge the battery in the GPS transmitter, unscrew the cover on the side of the unit and connect the adapter. Note! Remember to turn off the unit during the charging process.
B (LED Light): Shows the unit's status with three different colors: red, blue, and green.
Charging
For the first charge, the battery should be charged for 8 to 12 hours. Subsequently, the battery will fully charge in approximately 5 hours.
1. Connect the power adapter to the unit's port. Then, plug the adapter into a power outlet to start charging. Remember to keep the unit turned off while charging is in progress.
Startup
To start the Xtreme, pull the handle to the right [move right]. When the unit is active, the LED light will start blinking, indicating the unit is powered on. Then, screw the cap back on with the provided screws.

Download the app by searching for "MiniFinder GO GPS Tracking System" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Install the app and log in with your created or assigned login credentials.
App Overview
Once logged into the MiniFinder GO app, you will find the following. There are 9 different sections you should familiarize yourself with:
- Menu (Device List)
- Alarm Messages
- Create/Edit Geofence
- App Settings
- App Info & Help
- Show my phone's position
- Zoom in/out
- Show street view for the selected GPS device
- GPS device's location indication on the map
Menu
Click the menu icon [menu icon] to open the menu. The menu consists of one or more devices (GPS units) depending on how many licenses you have in the system.
- 1. Device name
- 2. Time of last position
- 3. Status icons for: battery ?, GPS signal ?️, GSM signal ?, and movement ➡️
- 4. Action menu (history, settings...)
Device Status
A GPS device can have four different status colors:
- Green (Online): The device is online and sending its position.
- Orange (Passive): The device is passive and last sent its position more than 10 minutes ago.
- Red (Passive): The device is passive and last sent its position more than an hour ago.
- White (Offline): The device is offline.
Regardless of the device status, you can always tap the device line to display its latest position on the map.
Action Menu
On the far right of the device line, there is an action menu (three vertical dots ⋮).
In the action menu, you can view history ("History") and edit settings ("Setup").
Alarm Message
The MiniFinder GO app supports various types of alarms: Geofence alarm, speed alarm, etc. All alarms send a notification message to your phone screen. Audible notifications, vibration, and a blinking bell icon are activated when the app is opened. The images below show examples of alarm messages.

Click the blinking bell icon to view active alarms. Click on active alarms to confirm and move them to the alarm history.
Route History
View position history on the map based on date and time.
- Start by clicking the action menu ⋮ (1) and then click "History" (2).
- Select a time period and then click "View History" to display the device's position history.
The following information is displayed for position history:
- 1. A is the starting position
- 2. B is the ending position
- 3. Shows a specifically selected position
- 4. Start date and time
- 5. End date and time
- 6. Drag the blue dot [drag] to view a specific position (3) on the map.
Drag the selected sub-screen up to view detailed statistics, including total distance, total time, and maximum speed.
Click "Clear History" to clear the selected history.
Change Device Name
Change the device name via device settings. Click the action menu ⋮ (1) and then click "Setup" (2). Change the device name (3) to your preference. Click "Apply" to save changes.
Speed Alarm
Click the action menu on the device list for the device where you want to set a speed alarm, and then click "Setup". Activate "Speeding Alarm" (1) and drag the circle on the speed line (2) to the desired speed limit. Click "Apply" (3) to activate the alarm if the selected speed is exceeded.
Comment
In the comments section, you can add additional information about your MiniFinder. To add a comment:
- Click the action menu ⋮, and click "Comment".
- Enter your comment in "Write comment", and click "Save".
Geofence Alarm
A Geofence is a virtually defined area on the map. When a GPS unit leaves a defined area, an alarm message, ringtone, and email are sent depending on the set preferences.
1) Create a Geofence
- Start by clicking the Geofence tab (1) and then "Create" (2).
- Then, define an area on the map.
A) Tap once on the map to set the area's starting point.
B) Tap again to place the area's second point.
C) Tap again to place the area's third point.
D) Tap again to place the area's fourth point.
E) Complete the area by tapping the starting point (point A).
F) Name the area and select "Enter", "Leave", or both to create an alarm. Select which devices should be affected. Finish by tapping "Create".
If you are not satisfied with the placement of a point, click "Back" to undo, or press and hold to delete all and start over.
2) Edit a Geofence
- Click the Geofence tab as shown in the image below (1). Then click "Edit" (2).
- From the list, select the Geofence you want to edit (3).
- To delete a Geofence, click the trash can icon ?️ (4).
- Change the name of the Geofence area in the text field (5).
- Click "Edit area" (6) to edit the area's size or location.
- Select "Enter" (7) or "Leave" (8) or both to create an alarm.
- Mark (9) which devices should be affected by the area.
- Complete the editing by clicking "Save".
To deactivate a Geofence without deleting the area, uncheck all associated devices.
Info Window (Tooltip)
The Info Window (aka "Tooltip") contains information from the latest position update.
A) Click the map pin [map pin icon] (or the device in the menu) to bring up the Info Window.
B) Device name
C) Location indication
D) Speed
E) Altitude (meters above sea level)
F) External voltage
G) Distance between you and the selected device
Tag Function (Mark Places)
On the map in the MiniFinder GO app, you can mark places with special information.
- Press and hold the location on the map you want to mark (1).
- You can specify a name (2), description (3), select an icon (4), and even attach an image (5).
- Then press "Create" (6) to save.
Tap the icon on the map (1) to edit the marked place and save changes (2) or delete them (3).
App Settings
Click the app settings tab to configure your MiniFinder GO APP.
Settings Menu
- 1. Number of licenses and your username
- 2. Change your password.
- 3. Map selector (Classic, Hybrid, Terrain, Satellite)
- 4. Keep screen active: Your phone's screen will remain on until manually turned off. This setting may increase your phone's battery usage, depending on your general phone settings.
- 5. "Tooltip" displays the info window above the map pin for your GPS on the map. Deactivate if you do not wish to show the info window.
- 6. Alarm settings identify what should happen if an alarm is triggered.
- 7. Enter an email address to receive notifications via email if an alarm is triggered.
- 8. Change app language: English, Swedish, German, Finnish, French.
- 9. Exit settings to apply changes.

Click the info button ℹ️ to read more about MiniFinder and access user manuals for all MiniFinder models.
- Click "MiniFinder GO Documentation" (1).
- Click "Select Device" (2) and then select the MiniFinder model (3) you wish to learn more about.
- Click "Download" (4) to download the user manual for the selected model.
Storage Function
The unit has a built-in 4MB flash storage. The storage saves GPS information when GSM network coverage is missing (e.g., in sparsely populated areas, indoors, underground, etc.). Saved positioning data is transferred as soon as GSM coverage becomes available again. This function depends on the MiniFinder GO subscription service. Contact your dealer for more information.

Recycling Information
The symbol on the product or its packaging means that this product should not be disposed of with regular household waste when its lifespan ends. Please note that it is your responsibility to dispose of electronic equipment at recycling centers to help conserve natural resources.
