SAR Information Statement

Your wireless phone is a radio transmitter and receiver designed not to exceed emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy exposure set by the FCC. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines based on independent scientific organizations' standards, including a substantial safety margin. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. Tests are conducted at the highest certified power level. Actual SAR levels can be lower as the phone operates at multiple power levels. Proximity to a wireless base station antenna affects power output. The highest SAR value for this model phone tested for use at the ear is 0.763 W/Kg, and when worn on the body is 0.965 W/Kg. The maximum scaled SAR in hotspot mode is 1.260 W/Kg. All reported SAR levels meet government requirements for safe exposure. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model phone. SAR information is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid by searching FCC ID: 2ADINN5502L. Additional SAR information is available on the CTIA website at http://www.wow-com.com. In the US and Canada, the SAR limit for mobile phones is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue.
