NUU N13 LTE Smartphone: Getting Started
N13 Overview
Front/Back
The front of the NUU N13 features a receiver and a front camera. The back of the phone displays the main camera, secondary camera, flash, and volume control. The wake/sleep button is located on the side.
Top
The top of the phone is minimalist, with no specific features highlighted.
Bottom
The bottom of the phone includes a headset jack, speaker, microphone, and a USB Type-C connector.
Setting Up Your Phone
Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your N13. Power off the phone before inserting any cards!
- Remove Back Cover: Pry the lower left corner of the device to remove the back cover.
- Configuration: Dual SIM Standby: Orient the SIM card to match the layout on the tray. SIM 1 (Nano) supports 4G LTE connections, and SIM 2 (Nano) also supports 4G LTE connections.
- Insert microSD™ Memory Card (Optional): Remember to power off the phone and remove the battery before inserting the memory card.
- Insert the Battery: Align the battery contacts and insert the battery contact-first.
- Replace Back Cover: After installing the SIM card, memory card, and battery, align the cover and snap it closed. Ensure a secure fit by pressing around the edges.
- Charge/Sync: Plug in the Type C USB connector to charge the phone or transfer data.
Warning: SIM cards are small and can be a choking hazard. Keep them away from children and pets. SIM cards are delicate; handle them with care.

Electronic Device
Do not use the device if it is prohibited or causes danger or interference with other electronic devices.
Interference With Medical Equipment
Follow hospital and health care facility regulations. Some wireless devices may affect hearing aids or pacemakers. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the device and a pacemaker. Hold the device on the side opposite the pacemaker and do not carry it in your front pocket.
Protecting Your Hearing When Using A Headset
To prevent hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. Lower headset volume to a safe level. High volumes while driving can cause distraction and increase accident risk.
Areas With Flammables And Explosives
Do not use the device in environments with flammables or explosives (e.g., gas stations, oil depots, chemical plants). Do not store or transport the device with flammable liquids, gases, or explosives.
Traffic Security
Observe local laws and regulations. Do not use your wireless device while driving. Concentrate on driving. Use hands-free accessories if necessary. Pull over safely to make or answer calls. RF signals may affect motor vehicle electronic systems. Do not place the device in an airbag deployment area. Wireless devices may interfere with airplane flight systems; follow airline regulations.
Operating Environment
Avoid dusty, damp, or dirty environments. Avoid magnetic fields. Do not use the device during thunderstorms to protect it from lightning. Ideal operating temperatures are 0°C to 35°C; ideal storage temperatures are 10°C to 25°C. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Protect the device from rain and moisture. Keep the device away from heat sources. Do not place sharp metal objects near the earpiece or speaker. If the device overheats, stop using it. Do not use the camera flash directly in eyes. Do not touch the device's antenna. Do not allow children or pets to bite or suck the device or accessories.
Child Safety
Letting children play with the device or accessories can be dangerous due to detachable parts that may present a choking hazard. The device and accessories are not intended for use by children without adult supervision.
Accessories
Use only NUU-approved power adapters, chargers, or batteries. Unapproved accessories may cause fire, explosion, or other hazards, and may void the warranty. If a power cable is damaged, stop using it immediately. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. Do not touch the device or charger with wet hands. Contact an authorized service center if the charger has been exposed to water.
Battery Safety
Do not connect battery poles with conductors. Keep batteries away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Do not modify, remanufacture, insert foreign objects into, or immerse the battery in water. If the battery leaks, flush affected areas with clean water and consult a doctor. If the battery deforms, changes color, or overheats, stop using it and remove the battery. Do not put batteries in fire. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not allow children or pets to bite or suck the battery. Do not smash or pierce the battery. Do not drop the device or battery. Replace the battery if standby time shortens significantly.
Cleaning And Maintenance
Keep the device and accessories dry. Do not use external heat sources for drying. Avoid extreme heat or cold. Avoid collision. Before cleaning, stop using the device, close all applications, and disconnect cables. Do not use chemical detergents or agents. Use a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not place magnetic stripe cards near the device for extended periods. Do not dismantle or remanufacture the device. Contact an authorized service center for assistance or repair if the device screen is broken.
Emergency Calls
Emergency call availability depends on network quality, service provider policy, and local laws. Do not rely solely on the device for critical communications.
Environmental Protection
Dispose of the device and accessories according to local regulations. Support proper collection and recycling.
Safety Precautions
Use wireless hands-free systems with low power Bluetooth emitters. Ensure the cell phone has a low SAR. Keep calls short or send text messages, especially for children, adolescents, and pregnant women. Use the cell phone when signal quality is good. People with active medical implants should keep the cell phone at least 15 cm away from the implant.
Disposal And Recycling Information
The symbol on the device or packaging indicates it should not be disposed of as normal household garbage. Hand the device over to an authorized collection center for recycling or proper disposal.
Battery Caution
- Use only NUU-approved batteries, chargers, and cables. Unapproved items can cause explosions or damage.
- All batteries have a limited lifespan. If battery life deteriorates significantly, purchase a replacement battery. Contact an authorized NUU service center for replacement of built-in batteries.
- The phone may become warm after prolonged use or in high ambient temperatures. If the phone becomes hot, unplug the USB cable, disable non-essential features, and allow it to cool down.
- Charging times vary. Avoid using the phone while charging and do not cover it.
FCC Statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. SAR Information Statement
This wireless phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general population. The standards include a substantial safety margin. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. Tests for SAR are conducted with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level. The actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. The highest SAR value for this model phone when tested for use at the ear is 1.068W/Kg, and when worn on the body is 1.106W/Kg. The maximum scaled SAR in hotspot mode is 1.106W/Kg. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model phone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. The SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public in the United States and Canada is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue.
Body-worn Operation
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 10mm must be maintained between the user's body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or an approved accessory.
