WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. Do not place objects filled with liquids on the apparatus. Ensure proper ventilation by maintaining at least 1 inch of space around the sides and 2 inches from the rear. Do not block ventilation slots.
Stability Hazard: Never place a television set in an unstable location. Ensure the TV is securely supported by an adequate stand or wall mount. Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture. Always route cords and cables to prevent tripping hazards.
Wall Mounting: If mounting on a wall, do not attach the stands. Purchase a VESA wall mount (e.g., 200x200 for 43" models) and follow the mount's instructions. The wall mount must support at least five times the TV's net weight. Professional installation is recommended. Never install or mount the product to the ceiling with the screen side facing down.
Power: The power button on the TV and remote puts the TV in standby mode. To completely shut off power, disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
Battery Information: Use only new, same-brand alkaline batteries. Do not mix battery types or old and new batteries. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat or extremely low air pressure. Dispose of batteries according to local guidelines; do not dispose of in fire or crush them.
Recycling: Visit www.tcl.com for information on recycling old TVs and electronics. Look for How2Recycle® labels on packaging for recycling instructions. Keep plastic packaging away from babies and children.
What's in the Box & What You Need
In the box: TCL TV, TV stands, power cable, 4 x ST4x25mm stand screws, 2 x AAA batteries for remote, TV remote.
What you need: Phillips head screwdriver, Router + Internet Connection (for streaming).
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Set up your TV
Carefully remove the TV from the box. To use the stand, place the TV on a soft, cushioned surface. Align the stands with the screw holes on the TV and secure with four screws (ST4x25mm). Ensure the installation direction is correct.
Step 2: Power up
Connect the power cable to the TV and plug it into the wall outlet. Insert the included AAA batteries into the TV remote, ensuring correct polarity. If applicable, connect external devices using the port labels and descriptions.
Step 3: Grab your remote
Familiarize yourself with the remote control functions:
- INPUT: Select input source.
- REMOTE MICROPHONE: Talk to the remote after pressing the Google Assistant button.
- POWER: Turn TV on and off.
- PROFILE SELECTOR: Switch profile.
- GOOGLE ASSISTANT BUTTON: Press to activate Google Assistant for voice search.
- SETTINGS: Display the dashboard menu.
- CIRCULAR D-PAD: Navigation buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right).
- OK BUTTON: Confirm an entry or selection.
- BACK: Return to previous screen.
- HOME: Access the TV homepage.
- LIVE GUIDE: Open live TV EPG.
- VOLUME (+/-): Raise and lower volume.
- CHANNEL: Change channels.
- QUICK SETTINGS: Open the quick menu.
- MUTE: Mute the sound.
- TCL HOME: Access TCL Home.
- INFORMATION: View program information.

Step 4: Get to know your TV
Identify the TV's ports and buttons:
- A STATUS LIGHT: Indicates TV standby status.
- IR RECEIVER: Receives signals from the remote.
- POWER and OPTIONS BUTTON: Press once for menu, press and hold to turn off.
- POWER PORT: Connects the TV to the power source.
- C USB PORT: Connect USB devices for photos, music, and movies.
- D LAN: Connect to your home internet router or switch.
- E HDMI PORT: High-quality audio/video connection for devices like cable boxes, Blu-ray players, or gaming consoles.
- F HDMI ARC/ARC PORT: Connect audio devices like sound bars or AV receivers with audio return channel capability.
- G ANTENNA/CABLE IN: Connect an outdoor VHF/UHF antenna or Cable TV feed.
- H AV IN adapter: Connect older devices using analog audio/video outputs (adapter not included).
- HEADPHONE OUT: Connect headphones or external speakers.
- J OPTICAL (DIGITAL AUDIO OUT): Connect to an external digital audio system.
Step 5: Complete guided setup
Set up your TV using the Google Home app on an Android or iOS phone. Download and open the app, then follow the on-screen instructions. You can also set up directly on the TV. A free Google account, a free TCL account, and a broadband internet connection are required for smart features.
Congratulations! Your setup is complete. Personalize your Home screen, streaming apps, and enjoy your TV.
Key things to know: Some streaming apps may require paid subscriptions. App availability varies by country.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot connect to wireless network (WiFi): Ensure correct network name and password. Relocate the router away from interfering objects. Reboot the router.
- Problems connecting cable box or antenna: Use HDMI connection if possible. Ensure cable connections are secure. Select the correct input and perform a channel scan.
- Remote control codes: Visit https://go.tcl.com/codes.
- Parental Control password: Update via Settings > System > Parental Controls. Use 0423 to reset if forgotten.
- Text-to-Speech (TTS): Enable/disable via Settings > System > Accessibility > TalkBack. More info: https://go.tcl.com/tts-gtv
- Voice control: Press and hold HOME and OK buttons simultaneously. Keep remote within 3 ft. of TV. Speak towards the remote microphone while holding the Google Assistant button.
TCL North America Limited Warranty
Coverage: One (1) year parts and labor for non-commercial use; six (6) months for commercial use. Covers defects in materials or workmanship for the original owner in the United States.
What TCL will do: At TCL's discretion, repair or replace the Product with a new or refurbished equivalent.

Prior approval is required for service. A representative will troubleshoot your issue. For TVs 43 inches and smaller, service may be repair or direct exchange. For larger TVs, service may be in-home or exchange.
What your warranty does not cover: Units sold as-is, used, or refurbished; damage from transportation, misuse, neglect, improper installation, non-approved methods, power failures, acts of nature, or use of incompatible accessories. Batteries are not covered. Units purchased or serviced outside the United States are not covered.
Limitation of Warranty: The stated warranty is the only warranty applicable. TCL is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages. California law governs this warranty.
How State Law relates to this warranty: Some states may not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages or implied warranty duration.
