Cable TV Installer: This reminder refers to Article 820-40 of the National Electrical Code (Section 54 of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1) regarding proper grounding. The cable ground should be connected to the building's grounding system as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
Important: This television is a table model designed for a firm, flat surface. Do not place the TV on soft carpeting or similar surfaces, as this may block ventilation slots and reduce product lifespan due to overheating. Ensure adequate ventilation by maintaining a spacing of one (1) inch from the top and sides of the TV receiver and two (2) inches from the rear and other surfaces. Use a TV stand or base of adequate size and strength to prevent tipping, pushing off, or pulling off, which could cause personal injury or damage. Refer to the Important Safety Instructions.
The Power button on the TV and remote puts the TV into a low-power standby mode. To completely shut off power, disconnect the power cord from the outlet. The mains plug/appliance coupler is used to completely turn off the device.

Step 1: Set up your TV
You're only minutes away from TV bliss!
Warning: To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep plastic packaging away from babies, children, and pets. Do not use packaging bags in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens.
Remove your TV from the box
Be careful, it's heavy!
To use the stand:
- A Take the stand neck component and neck plate. Match the stand neck with the stand plate and fix it with 6 M5x12mm screws from the accessory bag.
- B Carefully remove the middle foam packaging of the TV. Keep the foam packaging on the left and right sides attached as shown.
- C Put the table stand into place and fix it with 4 M5x20mm screws from the accessory bag. You have two options to install the table stand at a higher or lower position. Dig out the plastics in screw holes with a screwdriver before installing the table stand at a higher position.
- D Stand installation is completed.
Note: We recommend having three (3) people help to safely install the stands. While two (2) people securely hold the TV upright, another person should install the stands. Make sure the installation direction of the stand is the same as illustrated. Please remove the protective film after installation.
Stand Assembly Diagram Description:
- Diagram A shows attaching the stand plate with 6 M5x12mm screws.

Warning:
Never place a television set in an unstable location, as it may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Take simple precautions such as:
- Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer.
- Using furniture that can safely support the television set.
- Ensuring the television set does not overhang the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Anchoring tall furniture (cupboards, bookcases) and the television set to a suitable support.
- Not placing the television set on cloth or other materials between the set and furniture.
- Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
If relocating an existing television set, apply the same considerations.

To mount on a wall
Preparation must be done before mounting your TV on a wall.
Note: Do not place your TV in a location exposed to direct sunlight, heat, fire, or moisture. Exposure will damage the TV.
- Keep the foam packaging on the left and right sides attached as shown.
- Remove the 4 screws from the back of the TV.
- Screw the VESA bracket tightly onto the back cover with 4 VESA screws (M8x20mm) purchased with the wall mount.
- Follow the instructions that come with the wall mount to hang the TV on the wall.
If you are mounting your TV to the wall, do not attach the stands.
To mount your TV to the wall, purchase a VESA wall mount:
85" Models: Purchase a VESA 600x600, 4 M8x20mm screws.
The VESA number indicates the horizontal and vertical measurement of the mounting holes (e.g., 200x200 means 200mm horizontally and 200mm vertically).
Follow the instructions provided with your wall mount. Your wall mount must be able to bear a minimum of five times the TV's net weight to avoid damage.
Warning: This product should only be mounted by a professional installer.
Warning: Never install or mount this product to the ceiling with the screen side facing down. Installing or mounting this product to the ceiling or the underside of a structure or surface is hazardous and may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
Step 2: Power up
In this step, we'll make sure all systems are a GO!
Connect your power cable to the TV, then plug it into the wall outlet.
Power your TV remote by inserting the included batteries.
If applicable, connect external devices by referencing port labels and descriptions on page 9.
Battery Insertion Diagram Description:
- Step 1: Shows a remote with battery compartment open.
- Step 2: Shows batteries being inserted into the compartment, indicating correct polarity.
- Step 3: Shows the battery compartment closed.
Power Tip! Always replace depleted batteries with two same brand-new batteries from the same manufacturer. Never use damaged batteries.

Step 3: Grab your remote
The TV remote is designed to be intuitive for watching TV and navigating on-screen menus.
- INPUT: To select input source and display the quick panel.
- REMOTE MICROPHONE: Talk to the remote microphone after pressing the Google Assistant button.
- POWER: Turn TV on and off.
- PROFILE SELECTOR: Switch profile.
- GOOGLE ASSISTANT BUTTON: Press to activate the remote's Google Assistant microphone. Search content through your voice by holding down the button.
- SETTINGS: To display the dashboard menu.
- CIRCULAR D-PAD: Navigation direction buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right).
- OK BUTTON: To confirm an entry or selection.
- BACK: Return to previous screen.
- TCL HOME: To access the TV homepage.
- LIVE GUIDE: Open live TV EPG.
- VOLUME (+/-): Raise and lower volume.
- CHANNEL (+/-): To change channels.
- QUICK SETTINGS: Open the quick menu.
- MUTE: Press the button to mute the sound.
- TV PLUS: Access to network Live Channel.
- VIRTUAL KEYBOARD: Open virtual keyboard on screen.
- INFORMATION: In TV source, press to view program information.
How to turn on/off the backlight of the remote?
The backlight turns on automatically when the remote is picked up. To turn off the backlight, press and hold the SETTINGS button and the BACK button simultaneously for 3 seconds. To turn it on again, repeat the process.
Tip! Follow the on-screen guide to pair the remote control with the TV when pressing the [Google Assistant button] for the first time.
Step 4: Get to know your TV
TV FRONT:
- A STATUS LIGHT OF HANDS-FREE VOICE CONTROL: Glows when hands-free voice control is activated. (See page 14 for more information.)
- IR RECEIVER: Receives signal from the TV remote.
- B POWER and MENU BUTTON: Press once to open the menu. Short click to change the menu, long click to select.
- C HANDS-FREE VOICE CONTROL MIC SWITCH: Enable or disable the TV's integrated microphone.
TV BACK, TV BOTTOM, TV SIDE:
- D POWER PORT: Connect your TV to the power source with the included power cable.
- E ETHERNET: Connect an Ethernet cable to your home Internet router or switch.
- F HDMI PORTS: Highest quality audio/video connection. Connect cable box, Blu-ray player, gaming console, or other devices using HDMI cables.
- HDMI port 1: Supports up to 4K/144Hz
- HDMI port 2: Supports up to 4K/120Hz
- HDMI ports 3 & 4: Supports up to 4K/60Hz
- G HDMI eARC/ARC PORT: Connect HDMI eARC/ARC (audio return channel) capable audio devices like sound bars or AV receivers.
- H ANTENNA/CABLE IN: Connect an outdoor VHF/UHF antenna or Cable TV feed.
- I USB PORT: Connect a USB device for photos, music, and movies. Or connect an optional TCL webcam for video calls.
- J AV IN adapter: AV Input (analog audio/video). Used for older devices with analog audio/video outputs. Connects to the RCA cable (video - yellow, audio - white and red).
- K HEADPHONE OUT: Connect headphones or other external speakers.
- L OPTICAL (DIGITAL AUDIO OUT): Connect an optical cable to an external digital audio system.

TCL North America Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to all New TCL Product Models including LCD/LED Televisions, Sound Bars, and Appliances.
What your warranty covers:
Defects in materials or workmanship to the original owner of this TCL Product when purchased as new from an Authorized Dealer of TCL brand Products in the United States and packaged with this warranty statement.
New Products (Non-Commercial Use):
One (1) year from date of purchase for parts and labor for non-commercial use.
New Products (Commercial Use):
Six (6) months from date of purchase for parts and labor for commercial use. Commercial use includes use in a commercial or business environment, an institution, or for institutional purposes, or other commercial purposes including rental.
What we will do:
At TCL's discretion, TCL will either pay an Authorized TCL Service Center for labor and parts to repair your Product, or replace your Product with a new or refurbished/remanufactured equivalent value Product.
How to get service:
- Before submitting a request for warranty service, visit support.tcl.com for FAQs and troubleshooting suggestions.
- To get warranty service, contact TCL Customer Support at support.tcl.com/contact-us. Have your Product type, model number, serial number, and ZIP code ready.
- Troubleshooting and prior approval from a TCL representative are required before sending your Product to a TCL Service Center.
- A representative must troubleshoot your problem via telephone, chat, or email before service is provided.
- If service is required, the service location will be at TCL's sole discretion based on the Limited Warranty Statement.
- For TVs 43-inches and smaller, service may be at an Authorized TCL Service Center or via direct exchange for a new or refurbished/re-certified Unit.
- For TVs 44-inches and larger, service may be at an Authorized TCL Service Center or in-home, or via direct exchange for a new or refurbished/re-certified Unit.
- For Sound Bars and Appliances, service may be at an Authorized TCL Service Center or in-home, or via direct exchange for a new or refurbished/re-certified Unit.
- If an on-site technician deems home/property conditions hazardous or unsafe, TCL may cancel/reschedule the visit or opt for an exchange for a refurbished/re-certified Unit.
- TCL is not responsible for transportation costs for warranty coverage (repair/replacement) to the Authorized TCL Service Center. TCL will pay for return shipping to a United States address only.
- Units improperly packed and damaged during shipping are not covered.
- Proof of purchase (bill of sale or receipted invoice from an Authorized Dealer) is required for warranty service.
- A picture of the back of the Unit showing the model and serial number, and a picture of the Product issue, may be required for replacement.

- Units sold "As-Is", "Used", "Factory Reconditioned", "Factory Re-Certified", or "Refurbished", or with faults.
- Damage caused by transportation or handling, including shipment damage from a Retailer.
- Extended Service Plans purchased from Retailers.
- Customer instruction (Owner's Manual covers installation, adjustment, and operation; additional info from Authorized Dealer).
- Service calls for delivery/pick-up, installation, instruction, fuse replacement, house wiring/plumbing connection, or unauthorized repairs.
- Installation and related adjustments, or damage resulting from installation.
- Damage from non-approved installation or repair methods.
- Failure due to signal reception problems not caused by the Unit, power failures/interruptions, or inadequate electrical service.
- Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, insects, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, mishandling, faulty installation, inadequate electrical wiring, or power line surges.
- Damage from operating the Product in a corrosive or wet atmosphere.
- Markings or images on the panel from viewing fixed images (e.g., 4:3 images on widescreen TVs, data/images in fixed locations from banners, video games, broadcast networks).
- Units with unreadable or missing original factory serial numbers, or those changed, defaced, or altered.
- Batteries.
- Televisions modified or incorporated into other Products, or with serial numbers removed/altered.
- Use of accessories or components not compatible with this Product.
- Units purchased or serviced outside the United States.
- Costs of shipping the Unit to the Authorized TCL Service Center or TCL-designated address.
- Acts of nature or God (e.g., earthquakes, fires, lightning, floods).
- Special, incidental, or consequential damages.
LIMITATION OF WARRANTY:
The warranty stated above is the only warranty applicable. No verbal or written information given by TTE TECHNOLOGY, INC. DBA TCL NORTH AMERICA, its agents, or employees shall create a guaranty or modify the scope of this warranty.

Troubleshooting
Having trouble completing the guided setup? It's usually an easy fix.
Cannot connect to wireless network (WiFi)
- Select the correct wireless network name and verify the password entered (case sensitive).
- Relocate the router from objects that interfere with performance (cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.).
- Reboot the router by disconnecting the power for more than 2 minutes and reconnect.
Problems connecting my cable box or antenna through a coax cable
- For best performance, use the HDMI connection. If not available, then:
- Make sure the cable connections to the TV and your device are securely fastened.
- Select cable or antenna input.
- Select the channel scan menu and follow the on-screen instructions to perform a full channel scan.

How to update Parental Control password
- Select "Settings" from the home screen.
- Select "System".
- Select "Parental Controls" to setup or change your personal password.
Notes: You can set up your personal password anytime. If you forget your personal password, you can use 0423 to reset.
How do I turn Text-to-Speech (TTS) on or off?
- Select "Settings" from the home screen.
- Select "System".
- Select "Accessibility".
- Select "TalkBack".
- Select "Enable" and press OK to turn it on or off.

How to use voice control through the remote control?
- In Google TV mode, press and hold the “HOME” and “OK” buttons on your remote at the same time.
- Keep your remote within 3 ft. of your TV during the pairing process.
- Then, when the TV display shows that the Google Assistant is ready – speak towards the remote microphone by holding down the Google Assistant button to ask a question or try a suggestion.
How to use hands-free voice control?
Note: Make sure the hands-free voice control mic switch (refer to page 9 for its position) is turned on before using this function.
- In Google TV mode, press the Google Assistant button on your remote.
- Select "Yes, I'm in".
- Say "OK Google” or “Hey Google” to activate the hands-free voice assistant without using the remote control.
- Speak towards the TV to ask a question or try a suggestion.
Follow these steps to enable the always-on hands-free voice control:
- Select "Settings" from the home screen.
- Select "System” > “Power & Energy" > "Quick Start" and turn it on.
- Select "System” > “Power & Energy" > "Screenless Service".
- Turn on the "Screenless Service” and you can enjoy hands-free voice control in TV standby mode.
