Samsung Electronics Baltics Promotion: "Trade in your old monitor for a discount on a new monitor"

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to the Promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms").

Organizer

1. The organizer of the Promotion is "Samsung Electronics Baltics" SIA, registration No. 40003963909, address: Duntes iela 6, Rīga, LV-1013, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

Promotion Duration and Country of Operation

2. The Promotion takes place from July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period").

3. The country of operation for the Promotion is Latvia.

4. The Promotion is valid in the Organizer's online store: www.samsung.com/lv/ (hereinafter referred to as the "Store").

Participants

5. The Promotion is intended for individuals only.

6. Persons under 18 years of age may participate in this Promotion only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

General Promotion Terms

7. The promotional items are Samsung monitor models listed in Appendix 1 of these Terms and available for purchase in the Store (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotional Item").

8. The promotional offer is valid only for Promotional Items distributed by the Organizer and sold in the Store. The Promotion does not apply to Samsung products distributed by third parties. The buyer must ensure that the selected items are available in the Store at the time of purchase and are covered by the Promotion.

9. To participate in the Promotion, the buyer (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") must, during the Promotion Period, hand over their old monitor and provide the monitor's serial and model number by applying for the Promotion here: https://www.samsung.com/lv/ce-trade-up/#monitors.

10. Within the scope of this Promotion, the Participant can hand over an LCD, OLED, QLED, or equivalent monitor model, regardless of the year of manufacture, brand, operating status, or other similar factors. Cathode ray tube monitors, or CRT monitors, are not eligible devices for this Promotion.

11. By applying for the Promotion and undertaking to hand over the old monitor for disposal in accordance with these Terms, the Participant is entitled to receive a discount coupon of up to EUR 100 (one hundred euros) for the purchase of a Promotional Item (hereinafter referred to as the "Discount").

12. The Discount can only be used for the purchase of the Organizer's Promotional Items in the Store.

13. The amount of the Discount is determined based on the selected Promotional Item and in accordance with Appendix 1 of these Terms.

14. The discount code will be sent to the Participant via the online chat on the website mentioned in point 9 of these Terms or to the Participant's email address provided during registration for the Promotion. The Discount is valid only within the Promotion Period; after the Promotion ends, the Discount loses its validity, and the Participant will no longer be entitled to use it.

15. The Discount is non-transferable to third parties and is intended solely for the personal use of the Participant who registered for the Promotion. It cannot be transferred, sold, or used by a third party.

Terms for Transporting the Monitor to be Handed In and the Promotional Item

16. It is the Participant's responsibility to carefully pack their old monitor securely so that during transport, monitor parts or components do not fall out or cause damage to third-party property. The Participant must ensure adequate protection of the old monitor to minimize any risk of hazards during transport.

17. The transport of the Participant's old monitor and the delivery of the Promotional Item will be carried out by SIA "DPD Latvija", reg. No. 40003393255, legal address: Uriekstes 8a, Rīga, LV-1005, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the "Partner").

18. The delivery of the Promotional Item and the transport of the old monitor will be carried out simultaneously or separately by the same Partner.

19. Upon the Partner's request, Participants are obliged to assist the Partner's courier in loading the carefully packed old monitor into the delivery vehicle. The Participant must cooperate according to the Partner's courier's instructions to facilitate the loading process.

20. The costs of delivery of the Promotional Item and transport of the old monitor are covered by the Organizer.

Other Terms

21. The benefits granted within this Promotion cannot be combined with other Organizer campaigns and promotions, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the respective terms.

22. This Promotion is not considered an exchange offer provided by the Organizer. The value of the old monitor will not be individually determined, and Participants will only receive the Discount specified in Appendix 1 of these Terms.

23. The Promotion is intended solely for online sales Participants and is not related to items purchased for resale purposes.

24. The general sales terms of the Store apply to the purchase of Promotional Items, except where explicitly stated otherwise in these Terms.

25. If a Participant chooses to return the Promotional Item to the Store and withdraw from the purchase agreement in accordance with applicable legal requirements, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that they will not be entitled to receive back the old monitor, which has been handed over for disposal according to these Terms. If the Participant exercises their right of withdrawal, the Organizer will refund the Participant only the actual amount paid for the Promotional Item, excluding the Discount amount.

26. Participants are not entitled to use the benefits of the Promotion if it is determined that the Participant has not complied with the Terms or if the Participant has acted dishonestly or fraudulently in using this or other Promotions organized by the Organizer.

27. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms or terminate their validity at any time without prior notice, provided that the changes are made reasonably and in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation.

28. The Organizer is not responsible for the suspension of the Promotion due to force majeure, international and national sanctions, or other circumstances beyond the Organizer's control.

29. The Participant agrees that the Organizer is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred in connection with the Promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

30. The execution of the Promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes related to the Promotion will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.

31. The choice of applicable law and jurisdiction does not deprive the Participant of the protection provided by provisions from which, according to Regulation 593/2008 and Regulation 1215/2012, there can be no derogation by agreement.

32. Complaints regarding the Promotion can be submitted until November 30, 2025, by calling or writing to the call center:
