Camera Features

The baby camera unit includes the following features:

Visual Description: The camera is a compact, spherical unit with a rotating head. It is shown from the front, side, and rear to highlight the features. The front view shows the lens and LED indicator. The side view shows the microphone and speaker. The rear view shows the power port and pairing button.

Setting Up the Camera

Camera Installation

To set up the camera:

  1. Connect the baby camera's Micro USB power cable to the camera adapter (5V 2A).
  2. Connect the camera adapter to a power outlet.
  3. Finally, connect the other end of the baby camera's micro USB power cable to the micro USB port on the camera.

Adding a New Baby Camera to the Baby Monitor

  1. Check the firmware version of the monitor. Ensure your SpaceView Baby Monitor is running firmware version v2.3.0 or above. For the latest firmware updates, contact customer service at: support@eufylife.com.
  2. On the monitor's menu, navigate to Camera > Add Camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to start the pairing process.
  3. Press and hold the pairing button on the rear of the camera for 1 second. You should hear a notification prompt indicating the pairing process has begun.

Camera Placement (on the Wall Mount)

To mount the camera on a wall:

  1. Use the monitor to test the desired viewing angle from your chosen mounting spot.
  2. Mark the screw holes for the wall mount with a pencil.
  3. Drill 1/5" (approximately 5mm) holes into the wall.
  4. Insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes.
  5. Insert the mounting screws through the holes in the wall mount and screw them into the anchors.
  6. Place the camera onto the mounted wall bracket.

Cycle Camera Functionality

When the monitor has two or more baby cameras linked (up to a maximum of 4), you can enable the 'Cycle Camera' function. The monitor will automatically cycle through the video feeds of each paired camera. Press the OK button on the monitor to manually switch between different cameras.

Replacing the Camera Lens

The Eufy Security SpaceView camera supports interchangeable lenses.

Lens Type Usage Lens Description
Standard camera lens (default lens) Recommended for general viewing. Infants are clearly seen within a 2-3m range. The lens angle of view is 62°. [Image of standard lens: A small, circular lens assembly]

The standard camera lens is not removable. To use the wide-angle lens, simply place it over the standard camera lens and fasten.

Wide-angle Lens Installation

To install the wide-angle lens:

  1. Place the baby camera on a flat surface. Clean the lens with a soft cloth.
  2. Place the wide-angle lens over the standard camera lens.
  3. Turn the wide-angle lens clockwise to fasten it onto the standard camera lens. Stop turning once you feel resistance.

Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 1m / 3ft away). Never use extension cords with AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.

Due to the used enclosure material, the product shall only be connected to a USB Interface of version 2.0 or higher. Connection to so-called "power USB" is prohibited.

A statement regarding the AC/DC adapter as a disconnect device is missing in the user manual. The statement shall require a socket outlet that is installed near the equipment and that shall be easily accessible. The adapter shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

Environmental Conditions

Do not use the Device in environments that are too high or too low in temperature. Never expose the Device to strong sunshine or a very wet environment.

Charger Information

Please ensure to use only the charger offered by the manufacturer. Using an unauthorized charger may cause danger and violate the authorization of the projecter and the guarantee article.

Battery Disposal

CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.

RF Exposure Information

The Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) level has been calculated based on a distance of d=20 cm between the device and the human body. To maintain compliance with RF exposure requirements, use the product maintaining a 20cm distance between the device and the human body.

The T3800-C device has also been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements and can be used in fixed exposure conditions.
