1.2 Position the Sticker: Carefully peel off the protective film from the electrostatic sticker. Attach the sticker to the windshield, ideally behind the rear-view mirror, to avoid obstructing your view.
Step 2: Install the Dash Cam Mount
Place the 3M tape on the mount and properly orient the mount square to the roof and hood line of the vehicle. Firmly press the mount onto the windshield. Wait at least 20 minutes before mounting the camera to ensure proper adhesion.
Step 3: Insert the Memory Card
The Rexing V3C accepts [Class 10/UHS-3 or higher] Micro SD memory cards up to 256GB. Insert a memory card before recording. Before inserting or removing a memory card, ensure the device is powered down. Gently push the memory card into the slot until it clicks. Allow the spring release to push the card out.
Step 4: Power the Camera and Format the Memory Card
Power on the camera by connecting the charger to the car cigarette lighter and camera. To ensure the V3C records properly, format the memory card within the camera before using it for the first time. Always back up important data from the memory card before formatting.
To format the memory card:
- Ensure the memory card is inserted and the device is powered on by connecting it to a power source.
- Press the [OK Button] to stop recording.
- Press the [MENU Button] twice to enter the System Setup Menu.
- Use the [Up Button] and [Down Button] to navigate to the "Format" setting.
- Press the [OK Button] to confirm formatting the card. A confirmation message will appear (e.g., "All date will be deleted").
- Press the [OK Button] again to confirm the deletion.
You may now disconnect from power. The camera will shut down after 3 seconds. It should begin recording automatically the next time it is powered on.
Step 5: Installing the Camera onto the Windshield
Place the camera on the mount. Carefully route the power cable around the windscreen and tuck it under the trim.
Plug the car charger cable into a 12V DC power outlet or the car cigarette lighter. Connect the car charger to the camera. The camera will auto-start recording once it's powered on.

Parking Monitor (Parking Surveillance Mode)
The parking monitor provides surveillance on your parked vehicle. When the engine is off, a hardwire kit (sold separately) provides continuous power and protects your car battery from being discharged.
Option 1: Vibration Detection
To enable the Parking Monitor, connect it with a Smart Hardwire Kit (sold separately). This feature allows the dash cam to switch to parking mode automatically when the vehicle's engine turns off and switch back to normal recording when the engine turns on.
Gravity Sensing Record: The Gravity Sensing detects significant or sudden movement (such as an impact or collision) and triggers an event recording. It is suggested to set the "Gravity Sensing" to High sensitivity for Parking Mode Recording.
Note: If you do not use the parking mode function, change the Gravity Sensing sensitivity to low. Otherwise, videos may be easily locked and cannot be deleted by the loop recording function, potentially filling the memory card with locked videos and causing the recorder to fail. Please DO NOT ENABLE the Parking Monitor function without connecting a smart hardwire kit, as it may cause a malfunction.
Option 2: Motion Detection
To use this feature, connect it with a Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit (sold separately). Ensure that the Parking Mode is turned off on your dash cam, otherwise it may cause a malfunction.
Once the sensor detects motion, the intelligent hardwire kit powers up the dash cam automatically and starts recording until the motion is cleared.
