Miele Fully Integrated Dishwasher Installation Guide

Key Installation Notes
- The door springs must be set equally on both sides after fitting the front panel to the door.
- Venting the water drain: If the on-site drainage connection is situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the open door, the drainage system must be vented.
- Screw the feet in before moving the dishwasher.
- The minimum/maximum weight of the front panel is quoted in the technical data for your dishwasher on the Miele website.
- Tools required depend on model.
- Optional accessories are available.
Installation Steps
Step 1-7: Appliance Positioning and Securing. Position the dishwasher within the cabinet. Secure the appliance to the cabinet side panels using the provided fixings. Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the appliance is stable and level. Ensure the appliance width is between 590-597 mm and the depth is 577 mm.
Step 8: Connect the water inlet hose to the appliance and the water supply.
Step 9: Connect the drain hose to the appliance and the waste water outlet.
Step 10: Connect the appliance to the electrical power supply.
Step 11-14: Attach the front panel to the appliance door. Secure the front panel using screws, ensuring it is properly aligned and attached to the door mechanism. This may involve attaching a handle.
Step 15-18: Secure the appliance within the cabinet. Ensure all securing points are engaged and the appliance is firmly fixed in place. Final adjustments to leveling feet may be necessary.
Step 19-22: Water Drain Venting. If the water drain connection is lower than specified, vent the drain system. This typically involves routing the drain hose to prevent siphoning.
Step 23-24: Door Spring Adjustment. After fitting the front panel, adjust the door springs to ensure the door opens and closes smoothly and stays open at the desired angle. Ensure springs are adjusted equally on both sides.
Step 25-28: Final Connections and Details. Review all connections (water, drain, electrical) and ensure they are secure. Check appliance stability and leveling.
