- Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.

- Connect to a MAINS socket outlet with protective earthing.
- Ensure disconnect device (MAINS plug or coupler) remains operable.

- Do not install in confined spaces (e.g., bookcases).
- Do not place naked flame sources (e.g., candles) on the apparatus.

Getting Started: Connecting and Setup
Important: Mute your mixer when connecting or disconnecting cables to prevent damage or loud noises.
Connections:
- Mic Input: Connect your microphone via XLR cable.
- Headphone Output: Connect headphones for monitoring.
- Main Outputs: Connect to your PA system or mixer using 1/4" TS cables.
- AUX Input: For connecting external audio sources (e.g., MP3 player). Level is set by the sending device.
- Music In: Another input for audio sources.
- Pedal Input: Connect an optional footswitch (like Switch 3/6) for hands-free preset changes.
- MIDI In/Out: For connecting to other MIDI devices.
- Power Input: Connect the included 12V DC, 1A power adapter.
Mic Placement: Place the microphone behind your main speakers to help prevent feedback.
Using the PERFORM-VK Features
The PERFORM-VK offers a range of vocal effects and processing tools.
Presets
A preset is a collection of effects for a specific sound. Changes to presets are saved automatically.
Tone
Adds dynamic EQ, compression, de-essing, and gating to your voice for a polished sound.
Anti-Feedback
Helps eliminate unwanted squealing from your speakers using EQ and automatic level control.
Pitch Correction
Subtly nudges your pitch to the nearest semi-tone, improving accuracy without making a bad singer good.
Talk Mode
Bypasses all effects, allowing you to speak clearly to your audience.
Tap Tempo
Tap the TAP button in time with your music to set the tempo for the Echo effect. The tempo is global and not stored within presets.
Harmony
Control defaults to harmony level. Hold the HARMONY button to enter Harmony Voicing edit mode to adjust harmony settings.
Reverb & Echo Editing
Hold REVERB or ECHO to enter edit mode. Turn the control knob to adjust effect volume. LED segments indicate the level and style. When the effect level reaches maximum, the LED ring resets and changes the effect's style (sound), with corresponding LED color changes.
Effect Editing
The LED ring indicates effect level and style. When the maximum level is reached, the ring resets and changes the effect's sound and LED color.
Pitch Meter
Visual indicator for pitch correction status (Flat, Correct, Sharp).
Audio/MIDI Setup
Use audio or MIDI input to set the key and scale for Harmony and HardTune effects. If both are connected, MIDI takes priority.
Optional Switch 3/6
Use the optional Switch 3/6 footswitch to change presets hands-free, useful when performing.
