Installation Guide
Step 1a: Drilling
Drill a hole with a diameter (d0) of 20mm to a depth (h1) of hnom + 8mm at a 90° angle.
Step 1d: Anchor Installation (Tool 1)
Install the anchor using a setting tool. The required clearance embedment depth (h1,nc) is hnom + 20mm. Perform the setting action 3 times.
Step 1b: Hole Cleaning
Clean the drilled hole thoroughly using a brush and a blowing device. The minimum embedment depth (hmin) must be greater than h1,nc > 36mm. The blowing device should operate at 6 bar / 90 psi.
Step 1c: Anchor Installation (Tool 2)
Install the anchor using a TE-CD or TE-YD hammer drill. Drill a hole with a diameter (d0) of 20mm to a depth (h1) of hnom + 8mm at a 90° angle.
Step 2: Setting the Anchor
Insert the anchor into the drilled hole. Use a hammer to strike the setting tool, ensuring the anchor is properly seated in the base material. ? Eye protection is recommended.
Step 3: Verification
Verify that the anchor has been correctly set. A checkmark symbol ✔️ indicates proper installation. ? Eye protection is recommended.
Step 4: Final Tightening
Tighten the anchor nut to a final torque (Tinst) of 180Nm. Ensure a minimum edge distance of 30mm from the anchor to the edge of the base material.
