REMOTE CONTROL OVERVIEW
The remote control features the following buttons:
- Power button [?]: Switches the TV between on and standby mode.
- Microphone hole: For Google Assistant voice commands.
- Mute button [?]: Mutes or restores TV sound.
- Number buttons (0-9): Directly input channel numbers.
- EPG: Displays the Electronic Program Guide and allows channel selection.
- INFO: Displays source and channel information.
- Google Assistant button [?️]: Activates Google Assistant.
- VOL +/-: Increase or decrease the volume.
- CH +/-: Increase or decrease the program (channel).
- Display OSD menu button: Displays the On Screen Display menu.
- Signal source button: Displays or selects signal source options.
- OK button [✔️]: Confirms the highlighted menu item.
- Navigation buttons [↑] [↓] [←] [→]: Select items and navigate menus.
- BACK button [↩️]: Goes back to the previous step or menu.
- EXIT button [❌]: Exits the OSD menu.
- Home button [?]: Displays the home screen.
- NETFLIX button [?]: Connects to Netflix for online viewing (internet connection required).
- YouTube button [▶️]: Connects to YouTube (internet connection required).
- Amazon Prime Video button: Direct access to the Amazon Prime Video app homepage.
- App buttons: Press according to different on-screen prompts.
- Fast Reverse button [⏪]: Fast reverse playback in USB mode.
- Fast Forward button [⏩]: Fast forward playback in USB mode.
- Play/Pause button [▶️⏸️]: Plays or pauses video playback.
- Hold on/off button: Controls current page display.
- SUBT: Enters Teletext mode when playing a program.
- AUDIO: Changes the audio language for streams with multiple language options.
ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED: Spread cushioning flat to lay the TV on to prevent damage.

Stand assembly:
- Attach the stands (C) to the base of the TV.
- Insert two BA4 x 18mm screws (D) for each stand.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) to tighten the screws.

Remote control assembly:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries (E), ensuring correct polarity (+ / -) alignment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.

Connect to antenna:
- Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) via the 'ANT' input port at the back of the TV.
- Ensure the antenna cable is connected to a working antenna, either via a wall socket or directly.

Turning TV on:
- Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet.
- Press the POWER button [?] on the remote control, aiming it at the sensor at the front of the TV.
- Alternatively, press the power button located on the lower side of the back panel of the TV.
TURNING TV OFF: Press the POWER button [?] on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down completely, unplug the power cord from the outlet. It is recommended to unplug the set from both the power outlet and aerial if not in use for extended periods.
INITIAL INSTALLATION
The first time you switch the TV on, an initial setup screen guides you through the process. Follow the on-screen text tips:
- Language select: Use the navigation buttons [↑] [↓] on the remote control to select the language, then press OK [✔️] to confirm.

Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone? (Continue/skip):
- On your Android phone, open the "Google" app.
- Type or say, "Ok Google, set up my device".
- Tap the model name on the list.
- Configure the network: Select wired or wireless to connect to the internet. You can skip this and perform it later from the homepage or settings menu.

Google Account Sign in: Sign in to access apps, recommendations, and Google services. You can sign in via:
- Use your phone or computer: Visit androidtv.com/setup on your phone or computer. Ensure your device is on the same Wi-Fi network as the TV.
- Use your remote: Enter your Google account and password using the remote control.
- Google setting: Set up Terms of Service, Location, Help improve Android, Google Assistant, and other Google functions.
- Play Auto Installs: Select recommended apps and Google apps to install or uninstall. Press "Continue" to proceed.
- Pairing Bluetooth Remote: Press 'BACK' [↩️] and 'VOL-' [↓] simultaneously on the remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light will flash. Press OK [✔️] to begin pairing. Press [↩️] to skip pairing.
- Country select: Use the navigation buttons [↑] [↓] on the remote control to select your country, then press OK [✔️] to confirm.
- Set the TV password: Set a password for Parental Controls. "0000" is an invalid password.
- Select TV mode (Home/Retail): Choose Home mode for energy-efficient home use or Retail mode for store demonstrations.
- Chromecast built-in™: Select On or Off to enable Chromecast built-in functionality.
- TV Channel Setting: Select Antenna, Cable, or Satellite to scan for TV channels. You can skip this and perform channel scanning later from the menu.
- Setup completed: Review Disclaimer Terms.
HOME SCREEN
After initial setup, the TV will display the homepage. Alternatively, press the Home button [?] on the remote control.
Use the navigation buttons [↑] [↓] [←] [→] on the remote control to switch between Google Assistant, Apps, Play Next, Netflix, YouTube, and other sections on the Homepage. Press OK [✔️] to enter a selected section.
- Google Assistant: Use your voice to find shows, control devices, and more.
- Apps: Lists downloaded and pre-loaded applications.
- Play Next: Shows content based on your watch history, including next episodes or unfinished movies.
- Settings [⚙️]: Manage apps, TV controls, preferences, sound, and accounts.
- Favorite apps: Provides quick access to frequently used applications.
- Channels: Facilitates easy content discovery.
SETTINGS
Access the Settings menu by navigating to "Settings" [⚙️] in the upper right corner of the screen using the navigation buttons [↑] [↓] [←] [→]. Press OK [✔️] to enter the Settings menu and use the navigation buttons to select and adjust options.
- 3.1 Network & internet: Adjust network settings and check connection status. Select "Network&internet" and choose options like Wi-Fi, Add new network, Scanning always available, Proxy settings, or IP settings.
- 3.2 Channel: Select the "Channel" menu. Enter your PIN for Parental Controls using the navigation or number buttons.

3.3 Device Preferences: Select "Device Preferences". Navigate through options such as About, Date&time, Timer, Language, Inputs, Picture, Sound, Google Assistant, and Reset. Press OK [✔️] to jump to a corresponding sub-option.
- 3.3.1 About: Check additional information like System update, Device name, Restart status, and more. Press [↩️] to return to the previous menu or [?] to exit.
- 3.3.2 Reset: Selecting "Reset" will erase all data from the device's internal storage, including your Google account, system and app data, settings, and downloaded apps. Choose "Cancel" or "Erase everything".
APP INSTALL/MOVE/UNINSTALL
To manage apps:
- Press the Home button [?] or select "Live TV" on the Homepage, then press the Menu button [☰].
- Select "Apps" on the Homepage and click OK [✔️] to enter.
- Select "Get more apps" and input the app name, then select "Search" [?].
- Install: Find the desired app (e.g., "Facebook"), select "Install", and then choose to "Open" or "Uninstall" upon completion.
- Move: Select an app, press and hold OK [✔️], then select "Move". Use the navigation buttons [↑] [↓] [←] [→] to move the app and press OK [✔️] to confirm.
- Uninstall: Select an app, press and hold OK [✔️], then select "Uninstall". Press OK [✔️] to uninstall.
TV SOURCE SETTING
To enter TV source settings:
- From the Homepage, press the Input/Source button [⊚] or select "Live TV".
- Press the Menu button [☰].
- Select "Channels" and then "New Channels Available" to initiate the process.
HOW TO TURN OFF AUTO SLEEP FUNCTION
Navigate to: Menu [☰] -> Settings [⚙️] -> Device Preferences -> Power -> Off.
BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
- Poor picture and sound quality: Try a different channel, adjust the antenna, and check all connections.
- No picture or sound: Try another channel, press the TV/AV button, ensure the TV is plugged in, and check the antenna connection.
- No sound or sound too low: Check volume settings on external speakers, adjust TV volume, check another channel/input, and ensure MUTE [?] is not active.
- No colour, wrong colour, or tints: Verify the broadcast is in colour and adjust the colour and tint submenus in the Picture menu.
- Picture rolls vertically: Check all connections.
- Blurred or snowy picture, distorted sound: Check antenna direction, location, and connections. Issues may arise from indoor antennas due to poor signal.
- Remote control malfunctions: Replace batteries, check battery terminals, move closer to the TV, remove obstructions between the remote and the IR sensor, and ensure the TV is powered on.
- Image not centred: Adjust the horizontal and vertical position settings.
- "No Signal" on HDMI source: Test with a different HDMI cable, plug the device into another HDMI port, try a different device with the same cable/port, or perform a factory reset on the TV.
