Introduction

The Bresser Junior Adventure Scope is designed for young explorers to discover the world around them. This digital endoscope camera allows users to capture images and videos of hard-to-reach places.

  1. Endoscope camera with LED lighting
  2. Flexible gooseneck (approx. 68 cm / 27")
  3. ON/OFF/OK button: Power button and OK button (for recording)
  4. LCD screen: 5.86 cm (2.3")
  5. Handle
  6. MODE/MENU button: Switches between Video, Photo, and Playback modes.
  7. Reset hole: Resets the device to factory settings.
  8. UP/DOWN buttons: Used for navigation and selecting items.

Getting Started

Inserting Micro SD Card

Requirements:

  • Class 10 SDHC or higher Micro SD card
  • Capacity up to 32 GB

For best performance, use a branded Micro SD card and format it on your computer before use. Unbranded cards may not function correctly.

Charging the Battery

Connect the USB cable to your computer or a USB power adapter to charge the battery. The camera can record video while charging and can also be charged when powered off.

Turning Camera On/Off

Press and hold the ON/OFF/OK button (3) for 2-3 seconds to turn the camera on or off.

Operation

Mode Switching

Repeatedly press the MODE/MENU button (6) to cycle through the camera modes: Video Mode > Photo Mode > Playback Mode.

Recording Videos

Switch to Video Mode. Press the ON/OFF/OK button (3) to start recording. Press the ON/OFF/OK button (3) again to stop recording.

Taking Photos

Switch to Photo Mode. The screen will display the number of photos taken and remaining. Press the ON/OFF/OK button (3) to take a photo.

Playback Mode / Delete File

Use the UP/DOWN buttons (8) to select the next video or image. Press the ON/OFF/OK button (3) to play a video. To delete a selected image or video, press and hold the MODE/MENU button (6) for 2-3 seconds, confirm with the ON/OFF/OK button (3), and then press MODE/MENU (6) again to exit.

Settings Menu

Press and hold the MODE/MENU button (6) for 2-3 seconds to open the Settings Menu. Press MODE/MENU (6) again to exit.

Navigation

Use the UP/DOWN buttons (8) to scroll down or sideways. Press and hold UP/DOWN (8) for 2-3 seconds to navigate up. Press the ON/OFF/OK button (3) to confirm.

Settings Options:

  • Resolution: VGA/HD
  • Image Quality: 1MP, 2MP, 3MP
  • Cyclic Recording: Off/3 Min/5 Min (Creates a new video at selected intervals)
  • Date Tag: YES/NO (Saves the current date on recordings)
  • Time Setting: Set date and time
  • Auto Power-Off: Off/1 Min/3 Min (Turns the camera off automatically after the selected time)
  • Language Setting: Select language
  • Flicker: 50Hz/60Hz
  • Screen Savers: Off/3 Min/5 Min/10 Min
  • Format: Format SD card (Warning: all data on the card will be deleted!)
  • Reset System: Resets all settings to factory defaults.
  • Version: Displays current firmware version.

Warranty & Service

The regular warranty period is 2 years, starting from the date of purchase. To benefit from an extended voluntary warranty period, registration on the Bresser website is required. Full warranty terms and information on warranty extensions and services can be found at www.bresser.de/warranty_terms.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging materials according to type. For information on proper disposal, contact your local waste disposal service or environmental office. Do not dispose of electrical appliances in household waste. According to European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Empty batteries and accumulators must be disposed of separately.

For information on disposing of equipment and batteries produced after 01.06.2006, contact your local municipal waste disposal service or environmental office.
