SENECA T201DC100 Installation Manual
Preliminary Warnings
WARNING: The word WARNING, preceded by the symbol !, indicates conditions or actions that put the user's safety at risk.
The word CAUTION, preceded by the symbol !, indicates conditions or actions that could damage the instrument or connected equipment.
The warranty is legally void in case of improper use or tampering with the module or devices supplied by the manufacturer, necessary for its correct operation, and if the instructions contained in this manual have not been followed.
WARNING: Before performing any operation, it is mandatory to read the entire content of this manual. The module must be used exclusively by qualified technicians in the field of electrical installations. Specific documentation is available via the QR CODE shown on page 1.
Repair of the module or replacement of damaged components must be carried out by the manufacturer. The product is sensitive to electrostatic discharge; take appropriate countermeasures during any operation.
Disposal of electrical and electronic waste (applicable in the European Union and other countries with separate collection). The symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the product must be delivered to an authorized collection center for the recycling of electrical and electronic waste.
Module Layout
Container: Black PA6 material.
The T201DC100 can be mounted in any position and location, respecting the environmental conditions provided.
Use the supplied accessory for DIN rail mounting.
N.B.: Significant electrostatic fields can alter the measurement: avoid proximity to permanent magnets, electromagnets, or ferrous masses that induce strong alterations in the magnetic field; if the zero error is greater than declared, try a different arrangement or orientation.

Electrical Connections
CAUTION: Turn off the power before proceeding with wiring.
Current Output for 4 ÷ 20 mA LOOP
It is possible to connect a maximum voltage of 28 V directly to the 4 ÷ 20 mA output loop of the T201DC100.
Current Input
CAUTION: Ensure that the direction of the current passing through the cable is as illustrated in the figure (entering).
To measure the current passing through the cable, insert the cable into the central hole of the T201DC100 (as illustrated in the figure). The maximum current that can be measured by the T201DC100 is 100A.
To increase the current measurement sensitivity, insert the cable multiple times into the central hole of the T201DC100, creating a series of turns. The current measurement sensitivity is proportional to the number of turns. Example: Set the full scale, wrap the wire around the hole 5 times, obtaining 4 turns. The full scale will be 5 times lower, and the measurement will be more sensitive.
Arrange the turns symmetrically to maintain the instrument's accuracy.
