OG Touring Remote Reservoir Mounts Installation Instruction

  1. Before you start: Remove both saddlebags.
  2. Suspension Installation: Install your suspension following its dedicated instructions. To prevent interference with the saddlebag lid, do not use any provided spacers unless you have an aftermarket swingarm. If using Legend suspensions, use the thinnest spacers available.
  3. Hardware Removal: Remove the specified hardware from both sides of the motorcycle.

[Image Description: Two mounting points on a motorcycle swingarm are shown, labeled with red markers '#1' and '#2'.]

  4. Loctite Application: Apply blue loctite to every bolt supplied with the kit.
  5. Identify Supports: Identify the clutch side and brake side reservoir support.

[Image Description: Two circular metal supports are shown. One is labeled "Clutch Side" and the other "Brake Side". Both have the "OG" logo.]

  6. Mount Reservoir Support:
    • Ohlins HD-044 suspension: Place the reservoir support on the reservoir. Ensure the hose is properly centered with the support's fixing braces.

    • Legend suspension: Place the reservoir support on the reservoir using the provided Legend reservoir shim. Refer to the images for alignment reference.

  7. Tighten Support Screw: Once the support is in place, tighten the 1/4"-20 flat head screw to 76 in-lbs.
  8. Identify Support Arms: Identify the clutch side and brake side reservoir support arm.

[Image Description: Two angled metal arms are shown. One is labeled "Clutch Side" and the other "Brake Side". Both have mounting points for the reservoir support.]

  9. Saddlebag Insert Type: Identify if your bike is equipped with a rigid plastic or rubber saddlebag insert.

[Image Description: Two inserts are shown side-by-side. One is a black rubber insert labeled "Rubber". The other is a silver-colored rigid plastic insert labeled "Rigid plastic".]

    • If your bike is equipped with a rigid plastic cover or a quick attach bracket, refer to section 9.A.
    • If your bike is equipped with a rubber insert, refer to section 9.B.
  10. Install Support Arm:
    • Section 9.A (Rigid Plastic/Quick Attach): Install the support arm on each side of the motorcycle and ensure the spacers are positioned as shown in the picture.

[Image Description: A red metal support arm is shown mounted to a motorcycle component. Spacers are visible and labeled "Front", "Short", and "Long".]

    • Section 9.B (Rubber Insert): Install the support arm on each side of the motorcycle and ensure the spacers are positioned as shown in the picture.

  11. Mount Reservoir to Support Arm:
    • Ohlins HD-044 suspension: Install the reservoir mount on the support arm on both sides using the 5/16"-18 flat head screw supplied with the kit. Ensure the hose is routed as shown in the picture. If the hose is rubbing against the saddlebag lid, verify the proper spacing between the shock and shock mount (refer to step 2).

[Image Description: An Ohlins HD-044 suspension reservoir is shown mounted to the support arm, with the hose routed towards the motorcycle's frame.]

    • Legend suspension: Install the reservoir mount on the support arm on both sides using the 5/16"-18 flat head screw supplied with the kit. Ensure the hose is routed as shown in the picture. Secure the hose with the supplied zip tie as depicted.

[Image Description: A Legend suspension reservoir is shown mounted to the support arm. Arrows indicate where a zip tie should be used to secure the hose.]
