Using Your Appliance

This section tells you how to use most of the useful features. We recommend that you read through them carefully before using the appliance.

1. Adjust the door

When you find the doors are not at the same level, you can use an adjusting spacer to adjust the fridge doors. Only the fridge door can be adjusted. For example, you can install the adjusting spacer on the long shaft above the left middle hinge when the R2 door is higher than the R1 door. You can install the adjusting spacer on the long shaft above the left lower hinge when the V door is higher than the F door.

Diagram showing the position of the door shaft adjusted by the C-shaped adjusting spacer.

Diagram illustrating the installation of the adjusting spacer on the long shaft.

Note: When the door body is loaded with too much food, there may be some sinking. After using it for a period of time, it reaches a stable state, which is a positive situation. If there is a need to adjust the height of the left and right door bodies, it is recommended that users use a C-shaped spacer to adjust after using it for a period of time. After adjusting the left and right door bodies, please check whether the opening and closing of the door body and the rotation of the rotary separator on the door are normal before use.

2. Using your fridge compartment

The fridge compartment is suitable to store food and beverages that do not need to be frozen. For food that needs to be stored for a short period of time or vegetables and fruits that need to be eaten at any time can be stored in the fridge compartment.

Caution: Never close the refrigerator door while the shelves, crisper, or drawer are extended. It may damage both them and the refrigerator.

Glass shelves and Door racks

The refrigerator compartment is provided with several glass shelves and several different door racks, which are suitable for the storage of eggs, canned liquid, bottled drinks, and packed food. They can be placed at different heights according to your need. But do not place too many heavy things into racks. Before you lift up the door shelf vertically, please take the food out.

Humidity Control Drawer

There are three operating modes for the Humidity Control Drawer for you to choose from. When the control panel is unlocked, press the 'Humidity Drawer' button continuously, the operating mode will cycle between Low humidity, Medium humidity, and High humidity three modes, and the corresponding mode icon will flash. After 10 seconds of no button operation, the setting will take effect, and the current mode icon will be illuminated.

Note: When the Holiday mode is active, the humidity control drawer function is turned off, and the corresponding icon is extinguished. After exiting the Holiday mode, the normal function is restored. When the fridge door or the Humidity Control Drawer is opened, and the refrigerator is not working properly, the humidity in the Humidity Control Drawer cannot meet the requirements. When the Humidity Control Drawer is set to low humidity function for a long time, or the fridge compartment is set to a low temperature (such as 3°C or 2°C), in order to meet the humidity requirements, the temperature of the Humidity Control Drawer will be lower than 0°C. Please try to store dry materials as much as possible, as other food may be frozen. To ensure storage efficiency, please avoid placing food close to the sensor and ensure that the food does not block the air outlet. Please choose the appropriate mode based on the type of food being added. If the mode cannot be selected properly, there may be problems with fruits and vegetables being air dried or dry goods being damp. When storing dry goods, please do not put high humidity foods such as vegetables and fruits in order to avoid moisture. When storing food with a strong odor, be sure to use sealed containers or cling films for storage to avoid cross flavoring.

Vacuum Fresh Drawer

There are three operating modes for the Vacuum Fresh Drawer for you to choose from. When the control panel is unlocked, press the 'Vacuum Drawer' button continuously, the operating mode will cycle between Chill Mode, Fruits and Vegetable mode, and Cheese mode three modes, and the corresponding mode icon will flash. After 10 seconds of no button operation, the setting will take effect, and the current mode icon will be illuminated.

When the Holiday mode is active, the Vacuum Fresh Drawer function is turned off, and the corresponding icon is extinguished. After exiting the Holiday mode, the normal function is restored.

Steps for using the vacuum fresh drawer

  1. Step 1: Initial state.
  2. Step 2: Raise the handle control lever.
  3. Step 3: After the air enters and the pressure inside and outside is balanced, gently pull it out.

Diagrams illustrating the disassembly and installation of the fridge shelf part (steps 1-4).

Using your freezer compartment

The freezer compartment is suitable for storage of foods required to be frozen, such as meat, fish, ice cream, and other perishable items.

Caution! Ensure that bottles are not left in the freezer for longer than needed as freezing may cause the bottle break. Bottled or canned liquid are at risk of exploding caused by volume expansion and so should not be stored in the freezer compartment.

There is a rotary separator on the left-hand side refrigerator compartment door. When closing the left-hand door, the rotary separator folds behind the right-hand door joining the two doors. The temperature of the frame is controlled to help prevent moisture from developing on the mullion. The temperature of the surface may be warm, which is normal, and will not affect the performance of the refrigerator.

Note: Before closing the left-hand door, make sure the rotary separator is folded inward. If the rotary separator is pulled outward, it may become damaged when you try to close the door.

Diagram showing correct (folded inward) and incorrect (pulled outward) rotary separator positions.

Cleaning and Care

For hygienic reasons, the appliance (including exterior and interior accessories) should be cleaned regularly (at least every two months).

Warning: The appliance must not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Danger of electrical shock! Before cleaning, switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains socket.

Exterior cleaning

To maintain a good appearance of your appliance, you should clean it regularly.

Warning: Do not use sharp objects as they are likely to scratch the surface. Do not use Thinner, Car detergent, Clorox, ethereal oil, abrasive cleansers, or organic solvents such as Benzene for cleaning. They may damage the surface of the appliance and may cause fire.

Interior cleaning

You should clean the appliance interior regularly. It will be easier to clean when food stocks are low. You can remove the drawers and shelves for a more thorough clean. Wipe the inside of the freezer with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda, and then rinse with warm water using a wrung-out sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and baskets. Thoroughly dry all surfaces and removable parts before putting them back into place.

Door seals cleaning

Take care to keep door seals clean. Sticky food and drinks can cause seals to stick to the cabinet and tear when you open the door. Wash the seals with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly after cleaning.
