The CSM 57 18-EC is engineered for continuous professional use. Equipped with a high-performance 150 mm saw blade and a powerful EC motor, it cuts materials with a cutting depth of up to 57 mm. The 18 V battery platform, especially with an 8.0 Ah battery, allows for all-day operation without the need for frequent battery changes.

The saw features an ergonomically designed handle with soft grip inserts and an offset auxiliary handle that provides a clear view of the cutting line. Additional smart features include a detachable auxiliary handle, a chip collection container with metal protection, a fold-out hook for hanging, and an integrated hex key holder for quick and easy blade changes. The enclosed design enhances safety by significantly reducing the risk of injury compared to open cutting discs.

Practical Experience: Long-Term Use Confirmed

Despite intensive use, the saw blade's durability is impressive. "Initially, I was a bit worried if the saw blade would last. But it did! I'm still using the first saw blade on the test machine, and it's been nine months!" says Beck.
