- Vibration emission value (ah): 4.89 m/s² (K uncertainty: 1.5 m/s²)
Stated vibration and noise emission levels are measured against standardized criteria and can be used for comparing power tools. They can also be used for initial exposure assessment. Note that actual vibration and noise levels may vary depending on usage and workpiece type.
Noise and Vibration Minimization:
- Use only appliances in perfect working order.
- Service and clean the appliance regularly.
- Adapt your working style to the appliance.
- Do not overload the appliance.
- Have the appliance serviced when necessary.
- Switch off the appliance when not in use.
Caution! Residual Risks:
Even with correct use, residual risks exist:
- Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask is used.
- Hearing damage if no suitable ear protection is used.
- Health damage from hand-arm vibrations if used for prolonged periods or not properly maintained.
Danger! The tool generates an electromagnetic field. This may impede medical implants. Consult your doctor and the implant manufacturer before use if you have medical implants.
5. Before Using the Equipment
Warning! Always remove the rechargeable battery before any inspection or adjustment.
Warning: Wear necessary protective clothing, especially safety goggles, when working with the cordless nailer. Pay attention to safety regulations.
- Each time before starting work, check that the magazine cover (Fig. 1/Item 3) is securely fastened. Clean the equipment thoroughly after each use.
- Check that the trigger catch functions perfectly and all screws are securely fastened.
- Never tamper with, dismantle, or perform "emergency repairs" on the stapler.
- Proper maintenance is required at regular intervals.
- Take precautions to prevent damage, such as striking, engraving, unauthorized modifications, using hard templates, pushing across the floor, using as a hammer, or any acts of violence.
5.1 Checking the Trigger Catch (Fig. 1)
Warning! Remove the battery.
Check the trigger catch (6) before each use. It must move freely and return to its initial position. Never use the equipment if the trigger catch is not working.
- Remove the battery from the tool.
- Remove nails from the magazine (Fig. 2/Item 4).
- Check that the trigger catch (6) moves up and down freely.
- Reinsert the battery.
- Press the trigger catch (6) against the workpiece without pressing the trigger (1). The tool must NOT operate.
- Remove the tool from the workpiece. The trigger catch (6) must return to its starting position. Press the trigger (1). The tool must NOT operate.
- Press the trigger catch (6) against the workpiece and press the trigger (1); the tool will operate.
5.2 Loading the Nails (Figs. 2-4/Item 4)
Warning! Remove the battery.
- When loading the magazine (4), ensure the muzzle is pointed away from yourself and others.
- To fill the magazine, press the magazine release (2) and slide back the magazine cover (3) as far as it will go (see Fig. 2).
- Nails: With the pointed end downwards, press nails against the lower edge and push them forward as shown in Figs. 3 and 4.
Important! The magazine slide must move without excessive force. Watch out for jammed nails!
5.3 Charging the Li battery pack (Figs. 5-6)
- Remove the battery pack (a) from the handle by pressing the pushlock button (b).
- Check that your mains voltage matches the charger's rating plate. Insert the charger plug (c) into the socket outlet. The green LED will begin to blink.
- Push the battery pack onto the battery charger.
Refer to Section 10 for the Charger Indicator table. If the battery pack fails to charge, check the power socket voltage and the charging contacts. If it still fails to charge, send the charger and battery pack to the customer service center.
5.4 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 7)
Press the button (d) for the battery capacity indicator. The LEDs (e) show the charge status:
- All 3 LEDs lit: Battery fully charged.
- 2 or 1 LED lit: Battery has adequate charge.
- 1 LED flashes: Battery empty, recharge required.
- All LEDs blink: Battery temperature too high or too low. Remove battery, keep at room temperature (approx. 20°C) for one day. If fault recurs, battery is defective; do not use or charge.
6. Operation
6.1 Operation (Fig. 4)
Before starting work, use the filling level indicator (5) to check if the magazine contains nails and that the magazine cover (3) is properly closed.
Important! Determine the required nail depth by testing on a workpiece similar in structure and material to the intended workpieces.
6.2 Triggering Shots (Fig. 4)
The built-in trigger catch prevents accidental firing. A shot occurs only when the trigger catch (6) is pressed against the material AND the trigger (1) is actuated.
- Single Shot: Set the selector switch (10) to single shot. Place the nailer against the workpiece, pull the trigger (1) once.
- Repeat Shot: Set the selector switch (10) to repeat shot. Pull and hold the trigger (1). The nailer will shoot repeatedly when placed against the workpiece until the trigger (1) is released.
Important! To prevent overheating, take a 20-minute break after approximately 500 shots in repeat mode. Adjust the depth of penetration using the depth adjuster (Fig. 9) if nails are too deep or not deep enough (see Section 6.4).
6.3 Jammed Nails (Fig. 8)
If a nail jams:
- Remove the battery.
- Open the magazine cover (3).
- Open the lever (8) and cover plate (7).
- Remove the jammed nail.
- Close the cover plate (7) and magazine cover (3).
6.4 Adjusting the Depth (Fig. 8)
Use the rotary knob depth adjuster (Fig. 8 / Item 9). Screw in direction (+) for deeper penetration, and direction (-) to reduce depth. Important! Use test pieces.
7. Cleaning, Maintenance and Ordering of Spare Parts
Danger! Always remove the battery pack before cleaning.
- Keep safety devices, air vents, and motor housing free of dirt and dust. Wipe with a clean cloth or blow with compressed air at low pressure.
- Clean the device immediately after each use.
- Clean regularly with a moist cloth and mild soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents, as they can damage plastic parts. Ensure no water enters the device, as this increases the risk of electric shock.
