DeepCool FL Series 120/140mm Addressable RGB Fan
This document provides installation and connection instructions for the DeepCool FL Series Addressable RGB Fan, designed for 120mm and 140mm applications.
Installation
The FL Series fan is designed for easy installation into computer cases. The package typically includes the fan, mounting screws, and necessary cables.
Components shown in diagrams:
- A: FL Series RGB Fan (120mm or 140mm)
- B: Mounting Screws (typically 4 per fan)
- C: Fan Power/RGB Cable
Installation Steps:
To install the fan:
- Position the fan (A) against the desired mounting location on your computer case.
- Align the screw holes on the fan frame with the mounting points on the case.
- Insert the mounting screws (B) through the fan frame and into the case.
- Tighten the screws securely, but avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the fan or case.
The diagram illustrates mounting the fan to the inside of a computer case using screws.
Connection
The fan features a 4-pin connector for power and speed control, and a separate 3-pin connector for addressable RGB lighting.
Connect the 4-pin fan connector to a 4-pin fan header on your motherboard.
Connect the 3-pin RGB connector to the motherboard's RGB header. The diagram shows this header labeled '4-PIN/CPU_FAN' with pins '+5V', '5V D GND', which is used for 5V RGB synchronization.

The "Environmentally Friendly Use Period" indicator shows that the product is designed for 10 years of environmentally friendly use under normal operating temperature and humidity conditions.
Key to symbols:
