DEEPCOOL UF120 Blue Fan
Components List
- UF Series Fan: The main cooling fan unit.
- De-Vibration Buckle: Rubber or silicone mounting accessories designed to minimize fan vibration and noise transfer.
- 4-pin PSU Adapter: A cable to connect the fan to a standard 4-pin PSU connector for 12V power.
- Low Noise Adapter (7V): A specialized cable that reduces the fan's operating voltage to 7V, resulting in quieter operation at lower speeds.
How to Use
This section details the installation process for mounting the fan. The diagrams illustrate attaching the fan to a surface, such as a computer case or radiator, using the provided hardware.
The installation process involves aligning the fan with the mounting holes on the target surface. Screws are passed through the fan's mounting points, through the de-vibration buckles, and then secured into the mounting surface. The de-vibration buckles help to absorb vibrations during operation.
Adapter Notes
4-pin PSU Adapter Usage
Connect the small 4-pin male connector to the UF fan. Connect the larger 4-pin connector to a corresponding 4-pin header on the Power Supply Unit (PSU). This configuration provides 12V to the fan, enabling it to operate at its maximum speed.
Low Noise Adapter (7V) Usage
Connect the small 4-pin male connector to the UF fan. Connect the larger 4-pin connector to a corresponding 4-pin header on the PSU. This adapter limits the voltage supplied to the fan to 7V, resulting in reduced rotational speed and significantly lower noise levels.
Performance & Quality (P&Q) Curves
The following performance curves illustrate the relationship between Air Pressure (mmH2O) and Air Flow (CFM) for different DEEPCOOL fan models at various operating speeds (RPM). These graphs help users understand the fan's cooling capabilities under different conditions.
UF80
Performance data for the UF80 fan at speeds of 2200 RPM, 1500 RPM, and 900 RPM.
UF92
Performance data for the UF92 fan at speeds of 1800 RPM, 1200 RPM, and 900 RPM.
UF120
Performance data for the UF120 fan at speeds of 1500 RPM, 800 RPM, and 500 RPM.
UF140
Performance data for the UF140 fan at speeds of 1200 RPM, 800 RPM, and 700 RPM.
