Removing Your Existing Light Kit
Step 1: Remove the Globe
Lift and turn the glass globe counterclockwise one third of a full turn. Cautiously lower the glass and set it aside.
Step 2: Remove the Switch Housing Cap
Remove the switch housing cap by unscrewing the two light kit assembly screws. Set the cap aside.
Step 3: Remove the LED Assembly
Remove the LED assembly by unscrewing the two light kit assembly screws. Set the assembly aside.
Step 4: Remove Lower Switch Housing
Unscrew the three lower switch housing screws to detach the lower switch housing. Set the housing aside.
Step 5: Disconnect Plugs
Disconnect the wire plugs.
Step 6: Disconnect Pin Connectors
Disconnect the pin connectors from the switch housing and the LED assembly. Set these components aside.
Step 7: Remove Switch Housing
Remove the screw from the non-keyholed slot. Rotate the switch housing clockwise and remove it. Set the housing aside.
Step 8: Remove Remaining Screws
Remove the remaining two screws.
Important Note
DISCARD ALL COMPONENTS. You will replace all components with new hardware.
