DANGER: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. If the cord or plug requires repair or replacement, do not connect the grounding wire to any flat blade terminal. The grounding wire is identified by its green insulation, with or without yellow stripes. The product comes with a specific cord and plug for connection to a suitable electric circuit. Ensure the product is connected to an outlet with the same configuration as the plug; do not use adapters. Do not modify the provided plug; if it does not fit the outlet, have a qualified electrician install the proper outlet. Reconnection for use on a different type of electric circuit should only be performed by qualified service personnel.

Technical Drawing

This section displays a technical drawing of the EPLO E16BP Smart Toilet, showing overall dimensions including height (970mm), width (410mm), and depth (690mm). It also indicates the toilet's footprint and bowl shape. A note states that the drawing is for reference only and the manufacturer reserves the right to modify product appearance.

Parts Identification

This section identifies key components of the EPLO E16BP Smart Toilet. On the left side, components include the Lid, Indicator light, and Button. On the right side, features like Rear washing, Front washing, Washing baffle, and Drying baffle are indicated. The Spray nozzle, Bumper, Seat, Ceramic toilet, and Remote control sensor are also highlighted. The sensor area for foot-activated half flush is noted.

Toilet Installation

  1. Installation of Angle Valve: Draw a drain outlet centerline on the floor. Install the angle valve at the proper position on the wall according to the toilet's dimensions. Use the supplied angle valve, which includes a filter, to prevent blockages. If replacing an existing angle valve, contact a professional.
  2. Installation of Battery Box: Before activating the power-off flushing function, install a 9V alkaline battery (not supplied) into the battery box. Connect the battery connection cable from the rear side of the seat cover to the female end of the battery box. Remove the sticker on the velcro at the bottom of the battery box and place it in the proper position on the ceramic back for easy removal. It is recommended to use a high-quality 9V dry battery (e.g., 6LR61 or 6F22) and replace it every two years to prevent leakage. Professional installation is recommended.
  3. Cardboard Installation: Align the cardboard with the centerline of the drain outlet. Draw the contour line according to the cardboard.
  4. Hose Connection: Connect the water inlet of the toilet to the angle valve using the matching flexible hose and tighten it. Use the supplied water supply hose for optimal flushing performance.
  5. Mounting Bracket Installation: Assemble the mounting bracket with bolts and install them to the pre-installed flange plate on the ground, locking them tight with nuts.
  6. Ceramic Toilet Installation: Install a sealing flange into the drain outlet. Install the ceramic toilet onto the corresponding position, ensuring the toilet outlet sits perfectly on the drain outlet. Two people are required to carry the toilet. Clean the drain outlet before installation.
  7. Screw Installation: Insert the screw through the fixing sleeve, then through the holes on both sides of the toilet ceramic, and into the mounting bracket on the ground. Lock tight. Install the decorative cap onto the fixing sleeve.

Preparation

  1. Turn on the Angle Valve: Check the threaded connection for leaks to ensure complete sealing. Turn the angle valve counterclockwise to the full open position. Note that the angle valve may require significant torque for the first opening.
  2. Power Connection: Insert the leakage protection plug into a power socket. Press the reset switch; the plug indicator light should illuminate, indicating power is on. It is recommended to press the TEST button prior to usage to confirm the leakage protection function is normal. Press the TEST button (then the RESET button) monthly to assure proper operation.
  3. Self-inspection: Upon initial power-up, the main unit buzzer will sound "beep". The indicator light sequence will be: first blue light on, then blue light off, then red light up, indicating the start of self-inspection. The buzzer will beep again upon completion. The product is then ready for use.

Maintenance

Main Unit Care and Maintenance

  • Shut off the power supply before performing any maintenance.
  • Use only a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Once cleaning is completed and all surfaces are dry, reconnect the power plug.

Spray Nozzle Maintenance and Care

  • When no one is seated, short press the "REAR/MOVE" button on the main unit to automatically extend the nozzle for cleaning access.
  • When the nozzle moves forward, it can be removed for separate cleaning.
  • Use only a soft cloth or soft brush to clean the nozzle. Do not pull or push the wand to avoid damage.
  • After cleaning, place the nozzle back and short press the "Stop" button to retract the spray wand to its normal position.

Filter Maintenance

If poor spray performance occurs under normal conditions:

  1. Turn off the power and the angle valve.
  2. Unscrew the angle valve nut.
  3. Remove the filter net.
  4. Clean the filter net under running water using a toothbrush.
  5. Reinstall the filter and angle valve nut.
  6. Turn on the angle valve and connect the power.
