- Q: Unit doesn't power up.
A: Use a multimeter to check for 12v+ on the red and yellow wires. Ensure proper ground connection on the black wire. - Q: My video does not play.
A: Attach the "PARK" wire to the parking brake. When this wire is grounded, video playback will be enabled (this acts as a parking brake trigger). - Q: Reverse camera does not come up on the screen.
A: Attach the "BACK UP CAMERA" wire to the reverse tail light's 12v+ signal. Ensure the camera is powered and sending a video signal. - Q: Can I set up steering wheel control?
A: Key 1 and Key 2 wires need to be connected to your vehicle's steering wheel column. - Q: The time I set is not saved after device reboot.
A: Check if other settings are saved. If not, verify the yellow memory wire is connected to a constant 12v+ source. Alternatively, turn off GPS auto-update via Radio Settings > Set Time. - Q: My GPS gets no reception.
A: Ensure the antenna is properly connected. Mount the antenna directly to your vehicle (magnetic mounting is recommended for better GPS reception). Test alternate antenna placements to check for interference. - Q: How do I set the time?
A: Navigate to System Settings and select "Set Time". - Q: How do I turn up GPS instruction volume (I Can't hear it over music)?
A: Go to Navi > Settings > Sounds. Set the GPS voice level to maximum and the radio volume to minimum, adjusting as needed. - Q: Where can I download firmware updates?
A: The unit's hardware does not support updates for new OS or firmware. - Q: My BT microphone is not working as expected.
A: Check that the microphone port is not obstructed. Test proximity to the microphone. Ensure the phone connection is stable. Verify the call recipient's speaker volume is adequate. Avoid excessive background noise. Note: The built-in microphone cannot be changed, replaced, or upgraded. - Q: I am having trouble setting up Wireless BT.
A: Ensure your device is Wireless BT compatible (4.0+). Try pairing with alternate devices. Clear your device history in the Wireless BT settings menu and attempt to pair/connect again. - Q: How do I play video files? My unit cannot read my digital video files.
A: Ensure your SD card is compatible. Check the file format of your video; you may need to convert it to an alternate format.
