Important Safety Information
⚠️ WARNING
Carefully read, understand, and follow all information in this user manual before installing and using the swimming pool. These warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines address some common risks of water recreation, but they cannot cover all risks and dangers in all cases. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment when enjoying any water activity. Retain this information for future use.
Non-Swimmer Safety
- Continuous, active, and vigilant supervision of weak swimmers and non-swimmers by a competent adult is required at all times (remembering that children under five are at the highest risk of drowning).
- Designate a competent adult to supervise the pool each time it is being used.
- Weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear personal protection equipment when using the pool.
- When the pool is not in use, or unsupervised, remove all toys from the swimming pool and its surrounding to avoid attracting children to the pool.
Safety Devices
- In order to prevent children from drowning, it is recommended to secure the access to the pool with a protection device.
- In order to prevent children climbing from the inlet and outlet valve, it is recommended to install a barrier (and secure all doors and windows, where applicable) to prevent unauthorized access to the swimming pool.
- Barriers, pool covers, pool alarms, or similar safety devices are helpful aids, but they are not substitutes for continuous and competent adult supervision.
Safety Equipment
- It is recommended to keep rescue equipment (e.g. a ring buoy ?) by the pool.
- Keep a working phone and a list of emergency phone numbers near the pool.
Safe Use of the Pool
- Encourage all users especially children to learn how to swim.
- Learn Basic Life Support (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR) and refresh this knowledge regularly. This can make a life-saving difference in the event of an emergency.
- Instruct all pool users, including children, what to do in case of an emergency.
- Never dive into any shallow body of water. This can lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not use the swimming pool when using alcohol or medication that may impair your ability to safely use the pool.
- When pool covers are used, remove them completely from the water surface before entering the pool.
- Protect pool occupants from water related illnesses by keeping the pool water treated and practicing good hygiene. Consult the water treatment guidelines in the user's manual.
- Store chemicals (e.g. water treatment, cleaning or disinfection products) out of the reach of children.
- Use the signage as outlined below. Signage is to be displayed in a prominent position within 2m of the pool.
General Safety Reminders:
- Keep children under supervision in the aquatic environment. No diving.
- Removable ladders shall be placed on a horizontal surface.
- Accessible surfaces must be checked regularly to avoid injuries.
- Regularly monitor bolts and screws. Remove splinters or any sharp edges to avoid injuries.
- ATTENTION: Do not leave the drained pool outside. The empty pool is liable to become deformed and/or displaced due to wind.
- If you have a filter pump, refer to the pump's manual for instructions.
- WARNING! The pump cannot be used while people are inside the pool!
- If you have a ladder, refer to the ladder's manual for instructions.
- WARNING! The use of a swimming pool implies compliance with the safety instructions described in the operating and maintenance guide. Pay particular attention to the possibility of unexpected access by children under 5 years by securing access, and keep them under constant adult supervision during bathing.
Choosing the Correct Location
The surface chosen to install the pool must respect the following technical characteristics:
- The surface must be capable of uniformly supporting the total weight of the water and users for the entire time the pool is installed. Consider that water may come out of the pool.
- Check regularly the position of the vertical legs and U-supports. They must be on the same level as the pool bottom. If they sink, drain the water immediately to avoid collapse. Change location or modify the surface.
- Position the pool away from any objects children could use to climb into the pool.
- Position the pool near an adequate drainage system for overflow or discharge.
- The surface must be flat and smooth. Inclined or uneven surfaces can create unbalanced loading, damage the liner, and bend the frame, potentially causing collapse.
- The selected surface must be clear of any type of object, as the water weight can cause objects to damage or perforate the pool bottom.
- The selected surface must be clear of aggressive plants and weed species that could grow through the liner and cause leaks. Remove vegetation that may cause odor or slime.
- Ensure there are no overhead power lines or trees. Check for underground utility pipes, lines, or cables.
- Position the pool far from house entrances. Do not place equipment or furniture around the pool, as water leakage can damage them.
- The selected surface must be flat and without holes that can damage the liner material.
Follow these instructions carefully. Damaged parts due to improper setup will not be considered manufacturing defects and will void the warranty.
Suggested set-up surfaces: grass, ground, concrete, and other suitable surfaces.
Not suggested surfaces: mud, sand, gravel, deck, balcony, driveway, platform, soft/loose soil, or surfaces not meeting the above conditions.
NOTE: Check local by-laws for fencing, barriers, lighting, and safety requirements.
NOTE: Refer to the filter pump's manual for instructions.
NOTE: The ladder must match the pool size and be used only for entering/exiting. Do not exceed its payload. Check ladder assembly regularly.
Pool Maintenance
Failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines can risk your health, especially that of your children.
Using Chemical Tablets (not included)
Use a Chemconnect or Chemical Floater dispenser. If your item does not include one, purchase it from www.bestwaycorp.com or a local dealer.
IMPORTANT: Do not use granular tablets or throw tablets directly into the water. Chemicals can deposit on the bottom, damage the material, and discolor the PVC.
Using Chemical Liquid (not included)
IMPORTANT: Add chemical liquid in small doses in the center of the pool to avoid direct contact with the PVC surface. Direct contact can damage the material and discolor the surface.
NOTE: Remove the chemical dispenser when the pool is in use.
IMPORTANT: After chemical maintenance, use a test kit (not included) to test water chemistry before use. Maintain water according to the table below.

NOTE: Damage from chemical imbalance is not covered by warranty. Pool chemicals are potentially toxic; handle with care. Chemical vapors and improper storage pose health risks. Consult your pool supply retailer for more information. Follow chemical manufacturer's instructions. Pool damage from misuse of chemicals is not covered by warranty.
Important: Overuse of chemicals can discolor the print and pool material, and damage the liner structure.
Keeping Your Pool Clean
- Consult your local pool supply shop for advice and chemicals/pH kits. Clean and healthy water is key to liner longevity. Follow professional technician instructions for water treatment.
- Keep a bucket of water by the pool to clean feet before entering.
- Cover the pool when not in use.
- Skim the pool surface regularly to remove settled dirt.
- Check and wash the filter cartridge regularly.
- Gently clean any scum from below the top ring with a clean cloth.
- Be careful in case of rain; check water level. If it exceeds the specified level, DISCHARGE EXCESS WATER.
- If it rains, check the water level. If it exceeds the specified levels, drain the pool to the specified level.
Proper maintenance maximizes pool life. During the season, the filtration system must run daily for at least one complete water volume renewal. The pump circulates water and filters particles. Add chemicals to keep water clean and hygienic.
Repair
For leaks, use the provided underwater adhesive repair patch. Instructions are in the FAQs on www.bestwaycorp.com.
Dismantling
- Unscrew the drain valve cap counter-clockwise.
- Connect an adapter to a hose and place the other end where you want to drain the pool. Check local drainage regulations.
- Screw the hose adapter control ring clockwise onto the drain valve. The valve opens, and water drains automatically. ATTENTION: Water flow can be controlled with the ring.
- When draining is finished, unscrew the control ring to close the valve.
- Disconnect the hose.
- Screw the cap back onto the drain valve.
- Air dry the pool.
- ATTENTION: Do not leave the drained pool outside.
Storage
- Remove all accessories and spare parts; store them clean and dry.
- Once the pool is completely dry, sprinkle with talcum powder to prevent sticking, then fold carefully. If not fully dry, mold may form and damage the liner.
- Store liner and accessories in a dry place at moderate temperatures (5°C / 41°F to 38°C / 100°F).
- During the rainy season, store the pool and accessories as described above.
- Improper draining can cause serious personal injury and/or property damage.
- It is strongly recommended to disassemble the pool during the off-season (winter months). Store in a dry location out of children's reach.
Installation
Installation typically takes 20-30 minutes with 2-3 people (excluding earthworks and filling). The frame pool can be assembled without tools.
To lengthen your pool's life, sprinkle the top rail with Talcum Powder (not included, easily available) before assembly.

- Lay out all parts and check quantities against the components list. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for assistance or FAQs.
- Spread out the pool, ensuring it's right side up. Let it sit in direct sunlight for at least 1 hour to make it more flexible during setup.
- Place the pool near an adequate drainage system. Ensure inlet A and outlet B are correctly positioned for filter pump connection.
- NOTE: Do not use extension power cords for the pump.
- ATTENTION: Do not drag the pool on the ground, as this can damage it.
NOTE: Drawings are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual product. Not to scale.
Filling Pool with Water
ATTENTION: Do not leave the pool unattended while filling with water.
Diagram: Shows water level reaching a line 5cm-20cm (2.0"-7.9") from the top of the pool.
- Fill the pool until the water reaches the welding line located 5cm-20cm (2.0"-7.9") from the top. DO NOT OVERFILL as this could cause the pool to collapse. In heavy rainfall, you may need to empty some water to ensure the correct level.
- After filling, check that the water is not collecting on any side to ensure the pool is level. IMPORTANT: If the pool is not level, drain water and re-level the ground. Never attempt to move the pool with water in it, as this can cause serious injury or damage. WARNING: Your pool may contain a great deal of pressure. If the pool has any bulge or uneven side, it is not level, and the sides may burst, causing sudden water discharge, serious injury, or property damage.
- Check the pool for any leaks at valves or seams. Check for evident water loss. Do not add chemicals until this is done.
