Frame Installation Checks
After the pool's steel frame is completed:
- Ensure that the vertical poles are perpendicular to the ground. If they aren't, they could be bent or deformed.
- Do not assemble the pool on soft lawn. If you must assemble on a soft surface, place timber boards (not included) under the feet of the vertical support rods for even weight distribution.
Timber board conditions:
- Thickness: less than 1cm.
- The board should not touch the pool liner.

Owner's Manual - Safety Information
General Warnings
WARNING: Carefully read, understand, and follow all information in this user manual before installing and using the swimming pool. These warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines address some common risks of water recreation, but they cannot cover all risks and dangers in all cases. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment when enjoying any water activity. Retain this information for future use.
Non-Swimmers Safety
- Continuous, active, and vigilant supervision of weak swimmers and non-swimmers by a competent adult is required at all times (children under five are at the highest risk of drowning).
- Designate a competent adult to supervise the pool each time it is being used.
- Weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear personal protection equipment when using the pool.
- When the pool is not in use, or unsupervised, remove all toys from the swimming pool and its surrounding to avoid attracting children to the pool.
Safety Devices
- To prevent children from drowning, secure access to the pool with a protection device.
- To prevent children climbing from the inlet and outlet valve, install a barrier (and secure doors/windows) to prevent unauthorized access.
- Barriers, pool covers, pool alarms, or similar safety devices are helpful but not substitutes for continuous adult supervision.
Safety Equipment
- Keep rescue equipment (e.g., a ring buoy) [Rescue Equipment Symbol] by the pool.
- Keep a working phone and emergency numbers near the pool.
Safe Use of the Pool
- Encourage all users, especially children, to learn how to swim.
- Learn Basic Life Support (CPR) and refresh knowledge regularly.
- Instruct all pool users on emergency procedures.
- Never dive into shallow water [No Diving Symbol]. This can lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not use the pool when under the influence of alcohol or medication that impairs judgment.
- Completely remove pool covers before entering the water.
- Protect occupants from water-related illnesses by maintaining treated and hygienic water. Consult water treatment guidelines.
- Store chemicals out of reach of children.
- Use signage as outlined below. Display within 2m of the pool.
Visuals: [Supervision Symbol] Keep children under supervision in the aquatic environment. No diving.
Removable ladders should be placed on a horizontal surface.
Regularly check accessible surfaces, bolts, and screws for injuries. Remove splinters or sharp edges.
ATTENTION: Do not leave the drained pool outside; it may deform or be displaced by wind.
If you have a filter pump, refer to its manual.
WARNING! The pump cannot be used while people are inside the pool!
If you have a ladder, refer to its manual.
WARNING! Pool use implies compliance with safety instructions. Pay special attention to securing access for children under 5 and maintaining constant adult supervision.
Choosing the Correct Location
The surface chosen for installation must meet specific technical characteristics:
- The surface must uniformly support the total weight of the water and users for the entire installation period. Consider potential water spillage and surface softening.
- Regularly check that vertical legs and U-supports are level with the pool bottom. If they sink, drain water immediately to prevent collapse. Re-level or change location.
- Position the pool away from objects children could use to climb into it.
- Place the pool near an adequate drainage system for overflow or discharge.
- The surface must be flat and smooth. Inclines or unevenness can cause unbalanced loading, damage the frame, and potentially lead to collapse.
- The surface must be clear of any objects that could damage or perforate the pool liner due to water weight.
- The surface must be clear of aggressive plants and weeds that could grow through the liner. Eliminate odor/slime-producing vegetation.
- Ensure no overhead power lines or trees are above the location. Check for underground utilities.
- Position the pool away from house entrances. Do not place furniture or equipment around the pool, as spilled water can cause damage.
- The surface must be flat and without holes that could damage the liner.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage not covered by warranty.
Recommended Surfaces: Grass, ground, concrete, and other surfaces meeting the above conditions.
Not Recommended Surfaces: Mud, sand, gravel, deck, balcony, driveway, platform, soft/loose soil.
NOTE: Check local by-laws for fencing, barriers, lighting, and safety requirements.
NOTE: Refer to the filter pump manual if applicable.
NOTE: The ladder must be suitable for the pool size and used only for entry/exit. Do not exceed its payload. Check assembly regularly.
Pool Maintenance
Failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines may risk your health, especially that of your children.
Using Chemical Tablets (Not Included)
Use a Chemconnect or Chemical Floater dispenser. If not included, purchase separately from www.bestwaycorp.com or a local dealer.
IMPORTANT: Do not use granular tablets or throw tablets directly into the water. Chemicals can deposit on the bottom, damage material, and discolor PVC.
Using Chemical Liquid (Not Included)
IMPORTANT: Add liquid in small doses and in the center of the pool to avoid direct contact with the PVC surface. Direct contact can damage material and discolor the surface.
NOTE: Remove the chemical dispenser when the pool is in use.
IMPORTANT: After chemical maintenance and before using the pool, use a test kit (not included) to test water chemistry. Maintain water according to the table below.
Parameters | Values |
---|---|
Water clarity | Clear view of the pool bottom |
Colour of the water | No colour should be observed |
Turbidity in FNU/NTU | max. 1,5 (preferably less than 0,5) |
Nitrate concentration above that of fill water in mg/l | max. 20 |
Total organic carbon (TOC) in mg/l | max. 4,0 |
Redox potential against Ag/AgCl 3,5 m KCl in mV | min. 650 |
pH value | 6,8 to 7,6 |
Free active chlorine (without cyanuric acid) in mg/l | 0,3 to 1,5 |
Free chlorine used in combination with cyanuric acid in mg/l | 1,0 to 3,0 |
Cyanuric acid in mg/l | max. 100 |
Combined chlorine in mg/l | max. 0,5 (preferably close to 0,0 mg/l) |
NOTE: Damage from chemical imbalance is not covered by warranty. Pool chemicals are toxic; handle with care. Serious health risks exist from chemical vapors and improper storage. Consult your local pool supply retailer and chemical manufacturer's instructions. Pool damage from misuse of chemicals is not covered.
Important: Overuse of chemicals can discolor printing and pool material, and damage the liner structure.
Keeping Your Pool Clean
- Consult your local pool supply shop for advice and chemicals. Maintaining clean, healthy water is crucial for liner life. Follow professional technician instructions.
- Keep a bucket of water near the pool to clean feet before entering.
- Cover the pool when not in use.
- Skim pool surface regularly to remove dirt.
- Check and wash the filter cartridge regularly.
- Gently clean scum from below the top ring with a clean cloth.
- During rain, check water level. If it exceeds the specified level, DISCHARGE EXCESS WATER.
- If it rains, check water level. If it exceeds specified levels, drain to the specified level.
Proper maintenance maximizes pool life. The filtration system must run daily during the season to ensure complete water renewal.
NOTE: The pump circulates and filters water. Add chemicals for hygiene.
Repair
For leaks, use the provided underwater adhesive repair patch. Instructions are in the FAQs on www.bestwaycorp.com.
Dismantling
- Unscrew the drain valve cap counter-clockwise.
- Connect a hose to the adaptor and place the other end where you will drain the pool (check local regulations).
- Screw the control ring of the hose adaptor clockwise onto the drain valve. The valve opens, and water drains automatically. ATTENTION: Water flow can be controlled with the ring.
- When draining is finished, unscrew the control ring to close the valve.
- Disconnect the hose.
- Screw the cap back onto the drain valve.
- Air dry the pool.
ATTENTION: Do not leave the drained pool outside.
Storage
- Remove all accessories and spare parts. Store them clean and dry.
- Once the pool is completely dry, sprinkle with talcum powder to prevent sticking, then fold carefully. If not completely dry, mold may form and damage the liner.
- Store liner and accessories in a dry place with moderate temperatures (5°C / 41°F to 38°C / 100°F).
- During the rainy season, store as described above.
- Improper draining may cause injury or property damage.
- Disassemble the pool during the off-season (winter months). Store in a dry location out of reach of children.
Installation
Installation typically takes 20-30 minutes with 2-3 people, excluding earthworks and filling.
Frame pool assembly requires no tools. To prolong pool life, sprinkle the top rail with talcum powder (not included, easily available) before assembly.
Bestway is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling or failure to follow instructions.
- Lay out all parts and check quantities against the components list. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for assistance or FAQs.
- Spread out the pool, ensuring it's right side up. Expose to direct sunlight for at least 1 hour to make it more flexible.
- Place the pool near an adequate drainage system. Ensure inlet A and outlet B are correctly positioned for filter pump connection.
NOTE: Do not use extension power cords for the pump.
ATTENTION: Do not drag the pool on the ground, as this can damage the pool.

Filling Pool with Water
ATTENTION: Do not leave the pool unattended while filling with water.
- Fill the pool until the water reaches the welding line located 5cm-20cm (2.0"-7.9") from the top. DO NOT OVERFILL, as this could cause the pool to collapse. During heavy rainfall, you may need to empty some water to ensure the correct level.
- When filling is complete, check that water is not collecting on any side to ensure the pool is level. IMPORTANT: If the pool is not level, drain water and re-level the ground. Never attempt to move a filled pool, as this can cause serious injury or damage. WARNING: Your pool is under pressure. If sides bulge or are uneven, the pool is not level, and sides may burst, discharging water suddenly and causing injury or property damage.
- Check for leaks at valves or seams and any evident water loss. Do not add chemicals until this is done.
