1. Initial Setting
Before using the timer, press the "RESET" button for 2 seconds to reset the timer. The screen will turn blank and then display the reset status.
The initial display after reset shows all segments illuminated, indicating the timer is ready for setup. It typically shows day indicators (AM/PM, MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU) and time/program mode indicators (CLOCK, TIMER, ON/AUTO/OFF, RANDOM).
2. Setting of Current Time
Follow these steps to set the current time:
- Press "CLOCK" and "WEEK" simultaneously to set the current day of the week. The display will show the current day (e.g., TU).
- Press "CLOCK" and "HOUR" simultaneously to set the current hour. The display will show the current hour (e.g., 5).
- Press "CLOCK" and "MINUTE" simultaneously to set the current minute. The display will show the current minute (e.g., 24).
The LCD screen will update to show the selected day, hour, and minute as you adjust them, typically displaying the current day, time (e.g., 5:24), and the OFF status.
3. Setting of Timer Program
The timer allows for up to 20 ON/OFF settings. Repeat the following steps for each program.
- Press "TIMER" to enter the setting mode. The display will show "1 ON".
- Use the "SECOND", "MINUTE", "HOUR", and "WEEK" buttons to set the desired ON time for program 1.
- Press "TIMER" again to enter the OFF time setting mode. The display will show "1 OFF".
- Use the "SECOND", "MINUTE", "HOUR", and "WEEK" buttons to set the desired OFF time for program 1.
During ON time setting, the display shows the program number (e.g., 1 ON) and the set time (e.g., 5:22:20) with the day(s) selected. During OFF time setting, it shows the program number (e.g., 1 OFF) and the set time (e.g., 6:26:20) with the day(s) selected.
Note: Pressing "TIMER" repeatedly cycles through ON/OFF settings for programs 1 through 20.
4. Combination of Days Setting
Use the "WEEK" button to select the desired group of days for your timer settings. The sequence of day combinations is:
- a) MO + TU + WE + TH + FR + SA + SU (All days)
- b) MO / TU / WE / TH / FR / SA / SU (Individual days)
- c) MO + TU + WE + TH + FR (Weekdays)
- d) SA + SU (Weekend)
- e) MO + TU + WE + TH + FR + SA (All except Sunday)
- f) MO + WE + FR (Mon, Wed, Fri)
- g) TU + TH + SA (Tue, Thu, Sat)
- h) MO + TU + WE (Mon, Tue, Wed)
- i) TH + FR + SA (Thu, Fri, Sat)
To confirm or cancel a day setting, press the "ON/AUTO/OFF" button. Pressing it again will revert to the previous week setting.
The display shows the selected day combination (e.g., MO TU WE TH FR) and the programmed ON time (e.g., 06:25:37).
5. Timer Turn ON & OFF Mode Setting
The "ON/AUTO/OFF" button cycles through the operating modes:
- 5.1. ON: Press "ON/AUTO/OFF" until "ON" is displayed. The timer will always provide output, and the red LED indicator will be ON.
- 5.2. OFF: Press "ON/AUTO/OFF" until "OFF" is displayed. The timer will have no output, and the red LED indicator will be OFF.
- 5.3. ON AUTO: Press "ON/AUTO/OFF" from "ON" to "AUTO". The red LED indicator is ON. The timer will remain ON until the next programmed OFF setting is reached, then operate as programmed.
- 5.4. OFF AUTO: Press "ON/AUTO/OFF" from "OFF" to "AUTO". The red LED indicator is OFF. The timer will remain OFF until the next programmed ON setting is reached, then operate as programmed.
The LCD screen clearly indicates the current mode: "ON", "OFF", "ON AUTO", or "AUTO OFF". The red LED indicator next to the output socket also reflects the ON/OFF status.
6. Special Functions
6.1. Anti-theft Random Function
Press "RANDOM" to activate this mode when the timer is in ON AUTO, AUTO, or AUTO OFF. The display will show "R" on the right side.
This function randomly turns the timer ON and OFF within a 2-32 minute variation based on the programmed ON/OFF schedule. It only works when the timer is set to AUTO mode and a program is active. Press "RANDOM" again to exit.
When the Anti-theft Random function is active, the display shows "R" alongside the current time and mode (e.g., "R 0:55:28 ON AUTO").
6.2. Count Down Function
Press "WEEK" and "SECOND" simultaneously to enter COUNT DOWN mode. The display will show "d ON" on the left side.
You can set the countdown duration from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds using the "HOUR", "MINUTE", and "SECOND" buttons. Press "ON/AUTO/OFF" to select the "ON" or "OFF" model for the countdown. Press "TIMER" to start the countdown. Press "TIMER" again to reset it. Press "WEEK" and "SECOND" to exit COUNT DOWN mode.
The display indicates "d ON" or "d OFF" on the left, showing the remaining countdown time.
6.3. Summer Time Setting
Press "HOUR" and "MINUTE" simultaneously to enter Summer Time mode. The display will show "S" on the right side.
This function adjusts the timer's clock forward by one hour to accommodate daylight saving time. Press "HOUR" and "MINUTE" again to exit Summer Time mode.
When Summer Time is active, the display shows "S" on the right side of the time (e.g., "S 1:55:28 ON AUTO").
6.4. 12/24 Hours Switching
Press "MINUTE" and "SECOND" simultaneously to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. If 12-hour format is selected, "AM" or "PM" will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
Press "MINUTE" and "SECOND" again to exit the 12-hour mode selection.
The display shows "AM" or "PM" on the left side when the 12-hour format is active (e.g., "AM 11:55:28 ON AUTO").
