Product Introduction

1. TX Transmitter

The TX Transmitter features the following components:

The RX Receiver features the following components:

Operations

1. Power On/Off

Power On: The TX and RX automatically turn on when the power button is long pressed for 3 seconds, and the blue status indicator lights up.

Power Off: The TX and RX automatically turn off when the power button is long pressed for 3 seconds, and the red status indicator light turns off.

2. Pairing

Automatic Pairing: The TX/RX automatically pair after turning on.

Manual Pairing:

  1. Long press the power button for 8 seconds while the TX is powered off until the blue pairing indicator flashes.
  2. Long press the power button for 8 seconds while the RX is powered off until the blue/red/green pairing indicators flash.
  3. The blue light keeps on when the TX is successfully paired. The red, green and blue pairing indicators on the RX flash for about 1 minute and the blue light keeps on when exiting the pairing state.

3. Channel Output Connection

① 3.5mm OUT output

The receiver outputs the audio signal to the recording device via either a 3.5mm TRRS phone cable or a 3.5mm TRS camera cable. Users should use the appropriate cable according to their device.

Note: When using an external microphone, please insert it correctly into the microphone input jack. Only TRS interface microphones are supported.

② Type-C port digital output

The receiver's Type-C port has a digital output function, allowing direct connection to mobile phones or computers using a Type-C to Type-C cable.

Note: When connecting to a computer, users should enter the sound settings and set the input microphone to "MOMAN C1" for recording. Set the output speaker to "MOMAN C1" to use real-time ear return in the receiver listening interface.

4. Real-time Monitoring

The 3.5mm monitoring port of the receiver supports digital monitoring, which can simultaneously monitor the sound source of the transmitter and the input sound source of the device.

5. Volume Control

  1. Press the power button on the TX to turn on/off the mute. When mute is on, the red pairing indicator on the TX keeps on.
  2. Short press the gain adjustment button of the TX to adjust the volume for 4 levels.
  3. Short press the gain adjustment of A/B TX buttons on the RX to adjust the volume of A/B TX.

6. Noise Reduction

Short press the noise reduction button on the TX to turn on/off the noise reduction function. When noise reduction is on, the red and blue indicator lights on the TX status light up at the same time.

7. Switch the Channel Mode

Short press the power button on the RX to switch the mono/stereo/protected channel mode.

Default mono mode. When switching to stereo mode, the red pairing indicator light keeps on. When switching the protection channel mode, the blue & red pairing indicator lights light on at the same time.

8. Charging

Connect the charging cable through the Type-C port of TX and RX, and fully charge in about 2 hours.

Note: The grey end of the 2-in-1 charging cable included in the package can be used for digital output.

9. Mic Windshield & Device Installation

10. Setting The Recording Level Correctly

Camera devices generally have poor-quality, noisy preamps. To get the cleanest signals possible, it is highly recommended that users set the recording level on their camera quite low, 1/2 or 1/3 of it. MOMAN C1 provides variable gain control, allowing users to tailor their levels to suit almost any environment and recording device.

Adjust the recording level of inbuilt mics for SONY Camera (Take A7S II for example)

Settings description: Audio Rec Level with a slider from -∞ to 0dB. Options for SteadyShot (On/Off), Color Space (SRGB), Auto Slow Shut (On/Off), Audio Recording (On/Off), Audio Rec Level (slider with values like -20, -30dB), Reset option. Channel indicators CH1 and CH2.

Adjust the recording level of inbuilt mics for Panasonic Camera (Take LUMIX GH5 for example)

Settings description: Mic Level Adj. with a slider from -12 to 0dB. Options for Stabilizer (On/Off), Ex. Tele Conv. (On/Off), Digital Adjust the sound input level, Time, Mic I, DISP.X, Mic level Adj. (slider with values like -3dB). L and R channel indicators.

Adjust the recording level of inbuilt mics for Canon Camera (Take EOS 5D Mark IV for example)

Settings description: Sound recording options including Movie Servo AF (Enable/Disable), AF method (+ Tracking), Rec. level (slider from -dB to 0dB, with values like 40, 12), Grid display (Off/On), Wind filter/Attenuator (On/Off), Movie rec quality (FHD 50.00P IPB MOV), Sound recording (Manual/Auto), Movie Servo AF speed, Movie Servo AF track sens. L and R channel indicators.

Warranty

Warranty Rules

  1. From the date of purchase, the product will be replaced within one month if quality problems occur, and guaranteed within one year.
  2. Within the warranty period, any defect originating from the quality of the product, Moman offers free repair or replacement of spare parts.

Please note the following circumstances are not within the scope of the maintenance:

  1. Product malfunction or damage caused by failure to install, use, maintain or store according to the instructions.
  2. Alteration/tearing off of product labels, or product damage caused by disassembly/maintenance without authorization.
  3. The warranty period has expired.
  4. Product damage due to force major factors (such as earthquake, flood, fire, lightning strike, etc.) or artificial damage.
