Product Care

• Keep the product in a dry, clean, and dust-free environment.
• Keep corrosive chemicals, liquids, and heat sources away from the product to avoid mechanical damage.
• Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the product.
• Malfunctions may be due to drops or impacts from external forces.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the product. Otherwise, the warranty will be voided.
• Have the product checked or repaired by authorized technicians in case of failure.
• Failure to follow all instructions may result in mechanical damage.
• The warranty does not apply to human errors.

Product Instructions

1. Transmitter (TX) Overview

The MOMAN C2X Transmitter (TX) features:

• External microphone input
• Type-C charging port
• Power on/off button
• Built-in microphone
• Display screen

• Magnetic pocket clip

2. Receiver (RX) Overview

The MOMAN C2X Receiver (RX) features:

• Type-C charging/digital output port
• Power on/off button (mono/stereo/safety channel)
• 3.5mm TRS output
• 3.5mm monitoring port
• Display screen
• TX A gain adjustment
• TX B gain adjustment
• Magnetic pocket clip

3. Display Screen

The display shows various indicators:

• Noise Reduction: Active (A) or Off (B).
• Recording Mode: Mono, Stereo, or Safety.
• Power Indicator: On (A), Disconnected (B), Connecting (C), Connected (D).
• Connection Status: A diagram illustrates the TX display showing connection status. Before successful connection, the transmitter channel defaults to A. The first transmitter connected to the receiver is transmitter A, and the subsequent one is transmitter B.
• TX A/B Gain: Indicates gain level for Transmitter A and B.
• Dynamic Audio Display: Visual representation of audio levels.

4. Channel Output Connection

• 3.5mm OUT: The receiver outputs audio signal to the recording device via a 3.5mm TRRS phone cable or a 3.5mm TRS camera cable. Users should use the appropriate cable for their device.
• Digital Type-C Output: The receiver's Type-C port has a digital output function, allowing direct connection to mobile phones or computers using a Type-C to Type-C cable.

Note: When connecting to a computer, access the sound settings and adjust the input microphone to MOMAN C2 for C2 recording; adjust the output speaker to MOMAN C2 for real-time ear return on the receiver's listening interface.

5. Real-time Monitoring

The receiver's 3.5mm monitoring port supports digital monitoring, allowing simultaneous monitoring of the sound source from the transmitter and the device's input sound source. The monitoring jack has an impedance of less than 10Ω for headphones.

6. Volume Control

• Short press the TX power button to activate/deactivate mute.
• Short press the TX gain adjustment button to adjust the volume in 6 levels (0-3-6-9-12-15).
• Short press the A/B TX gain adjustment buttons on the RX to adjust the volume of A/B TX.

Operations

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: The TX and RX automatically power on by long-pressing the power button for 3 seconds. The screen will illuminate.
• Power Off: The TX and RX automatically power off by long-pressing the power button for 3 seconds. The screen will turn off.

2. Pairing

• Automatic Pairing: TX/RX automatically pair after powering on.
• Manual Pairing:
  1. Long press the transmitter and receiver simultaneously for 3 seconds to power off.
  2. After powering off, long press the transmitter and receiver power buttons for 8 seconds simultaneously to enter the [connecting] state.

3. Noise Cancellation

Short press the noise cancellation button on the transmitter to switch between noise control modes:

• Noise cancellation deactivated
• Low-level noise cancellation
• High-level noise cancellation

4. Change Channel Mode

Short press the RX power button to switch between mono/stereo/safety channel modes. Mono mode is the default.

5. Charging

Connect the charging cable via the Type-C port of both TX and RX. Fully charge in approximately 2 hours.

Note: The gray end of the included 3-in-1 charging cable can be used for digital output.

6. Microphone Installation and Device Setup

Screw to mount the windshield.

7. Correct Recording Level Adjustment

For optimal signal quality, it is highly recommended to set the recording level of the camera to a relatively low level, 1/2 or 1/3 of its maximum. The C2 offers variable gain control, allowing users to adapt levels to any environment and recording device.

Warranty Period

MOMAN products come with a warranty. Customers are entitled to free replacement or repair service for quality defects found in the product under normal use within 30 days of product receipt. Original MOMAN products have a limited 12-month warranty. The warranty period begins on the purchase date by the first end-user. Within the warranty period, if the product defect or failure is attributable to a material defect or a technological issue, the defective product or part will be repaired or replaced free of charge (service and material fees).

Exclusions and Limitations of Warranty

Failures resulting from improper use of a product not following its operating specifications are not covered. This includes:

• Artificial damage, e.g., shocks, crushes, scratches, or water damage.
• Modifications made to a product by its user or a third party without prior written consent from MOMAN, e.g., replacement of an element or circuit, alteration of the label, etc.
• Product code not matching the warranty certificate, or product code/warranty certificate being altered or torn.
• All consumable accessories attached to a product, such as cables, windshields, batteries.
• Failures due to force majeure, such as fires, floods, lightning, etc.

Warranty Claim Procedure

• If a product fails or has issues after purchase, customers should contact a local agent for assistance, or contact MOMAN customer service via email.
• Customers should retain the purchase receipt and warranty certificate as proof of purchase. If any of these documents are missing, only product return or service will be charged.
• If a SYNCO product is outside warranty coverage, service and parts costs will be charged.
