Safety Instructions
General Safety Precautions
Before installing or using the product, read these instructions carefully and strictly observe the precautions.
- To avoid any risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, use and install the product in compliance with basic safety precautions.
- Always follow the installation instructions provided with the product.
- Do not connect or use the product during thunderstorms.
- Plastic bags pose a suffocation risk; keep out of reach of children.
- The product is designed for vertical use.
- If mounting on a wall, use screws and dowels appropriate for the wall material (recommended screw diameter: 3.5 mm, length: 30 mm or more; recommended dowel diameter: 5 mm, length: 30 mm).
Climatic Conditions
- Designed for use in an office or room with a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F).
- Do not install in areas with excessive sunshine or heat radiation.
- Avoid installation where heat can build up (e.g., on or under other electrical equipment).
- Do not expose to moisture or condensation.
- Install in an environment classified as pollution degree 2 (dry, non-conducting pollution).
Water and Moisture
- Do not install in damp or dusty environments.
- Prevent contact with water or other liquids. No liquid should enter the product.
- Do not use near water outlets (bath, sink, washing machine), in damp basements, or near swimming pools.
- If liquid or any substance enters the product, switch it off immediately or unplug the power cord. Continued use may cause electric shock or fire.
- Moving the product from a cold to a warm environment may cause condensation. Allow the product to dry before switching it back on.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Disconnect the product from the mains socket and computer before cleaning.
- Do not use detergents, aerosols, chemicals that may damage plastic, or substances containing alcohol, benzene, diluent, or other flammable products.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not dismantle the product. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages. Incorrect re-assembly may cause electric shock. Contact customer service for repairs.
Power Supply
- Only use the supplied power unit and accessories.
- Connect to the mains according to installation instructions and product label indications.
- Using unauthorized power sources may cause overheating, deformation, electric discharge, or fire.
Accessibility & Electrical Overload
- Ensure the power unit is easily accessible and close to the equipment for quick disconnection.
- Do not plug too many devices into a mains socket block or extensions to avoid increasing fire or electric shock risks.
Damage Requiring Repair
Unplug the appliance and have it repaired by qualified service if:
- The power supply or plug is damaged.
- A supplied cable is damaged or frayed.
- Liquid has been spilled on the appliance, or it has been exposed to rain or water.
- The appliance does not function normally or shows significant performance variations.
- The appliance has fallen or is damaged in any way.
- There are signs of overheating.
- If small metal objects accidentally enter the product, disconnect it immediately and contact customer service. Do not reconnect until foreign bodies are removed.
- If you notice a burning smell or smoke, unplug the product immediately. Do not open the product yourself due to the risk of electric shock.
Network and Telephony Connections
Ethernet and telephony ports are intended for indoor cable circuits within the building where the product is installed. They should not connect to remote equipment grounded on a different earthing network.
Wireless Device Usage
In certain environments or circumstances, the use of wireless devices may be prohibited by the building owner or organization. If in doubt about policies for wireless equipment use in specific organizations or environments (e.g., airports), seek permission before operating the product.

CE Compliance
Sagemcom confirms that this product complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU.
This marking certifies compliance with health and safety of users, electromagnetic compatibility, correct use of radio frequency spectrum, and reduction of environmental impact.
The device operates within 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. To limit radio frequency exposure, maintain a distance of at least 20 cm from people. Transmitted radio frequencies and power levels are:
- 2400-2483.5 MHz: 100 mW
- 5150-5350 MHz: 200 mW
- 5470-5725 MHz: 1 W

Wi-Fi 5 GHz: The 5150-5350 MHz frequency band is limited to indoor use.
Similar restrictions apply in the United Kingdom for the 5150-5350 MHz frequency range.
