PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

This section introduces the components of the Blackview AirBuds 8.

DEVICE CONNECTION

Method 1: Pairing for the First Time

1. Open the charging case cover. The earbuds' LED indicator will blink orange and white alternately, indicating they have entered "Pairing state".

2. On your device, turn on Bluetooth and select "AirBuds 8" from the list of available devices. A connection prompt tone will play upon successful connection.

Method 2: Reconnecting or Pairing with an Existing Device

1. If the earbuds are already connected to a device, tap the "Touch" button four times. The indicator will blink orange and white alternately, and the earbuds will enter pairing state. (Note: The earbuds cannot be operated for calls or music playback during this state).

2. On your device, turn on Bluetooth and select "AirBuds 8". A connection prompt tone will play upon successful connection.

Note: The methods above are for pairing a new device. After initial setup, the earbuds will automatically power on and connect to the last paired device when removed from the charging case.

CONTROL

i) Equipment Operation

  1. Power On: Open the charging case. The headphones will automatically power on.
  2. Shut Down: Place the headphones into the charging case and close the charging case.
  3. Restore Factory Settings:
    • While in pairing mode, double-tap the touch control and then long-press for 5 seconds.
    • When the white light flashes 3 times, the headphones have entered factory reset mode. Place them back into the charging case to restore factory settings. You can then open the cover to re-pair.

This section describes the meaning of the LED lights on the charging case and earbuds.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

^Based on moderate volume. Actual battery life will vary depending on specific use, settings, and environmental factors.

NOTE: Compliance markings are in the charging case.

CAUTION: Do not use the earbuds at a high volume for extended periods of time, as this may cause hearing loss.

Answers for Common Questions (FAQ)

  1. Question: The Bluetooth headset cannot be switched on.
    • Reason: The battery in the charging compartment or the headset itself is low.
    • Solution: Place the headset into the charging box, close the cover, and charge the charging box for at least 1 hour before use.
  2. Question: The phone cannot search for the Bluetooth headset.
    • Reason 1: The Bluetooth headset is not in pairing state.
    • Solution 1: When the earbuds are already connected to the device, tap the "Touch" button four times. The indicator will blink orange and white alternately, entering pairing state.
    • Reason 2: Mobile phone Bluetooth program errors.
    • Solution 2: Restart the mobile phone's Bluetooth, clear all pairing data stored on the phone, and search for Bluetooth devices again.
  3. Question: There is no sound from the headset speaker.
    • Reason 1: Volume is too low on the mobile phone or headset.
    • Solution 1: Turn the volume of the mobile phone and headset to maximum and check. Adjust the mobile phone's volume when the headset is connected.
    • Reason 2: The Bluetooth headset is not properly connected with the mobile phone.
    • Solution 2: Reconnect the Bluetooth and mobile phone through pairing.
    • Reason 3: The Bluetooth headset is not within the valid working range.
    • Solution 3: Keep the headset within 10 meters of the mobile phone, ensuring no large objects, walls, or other obstacles are between them.
  4. Question: The headset doesn't send messages or the voice is low.
    • Reason 1: The Bluetooth headset is too far from the mouth.
    • Solution 1: Wear the Bluetooth headset on the ear for normal use.
    • Reason 2: The microphone hole is blocked or has water inside.
    • Solution 2: Remove any blockage from the microphone hole or prevent water from entering it.
  5. Question: The headphone gets stuck or disconnects during talking or listening to music.
    • Reason 1: The Bluetooth headset is too far from the mobile phone or there are obstacles.
    • Solution 1: Keep the headset within 10 meters of the mobile phone, free from large objects and walls. Avoid covering the Bluetooth headset with your hand. Keep the Bluetooth device and mobile phone in the same direction for stable signal.
    • Reason 2: There is a problem with the mobile phone's Bluetooth signal or strong signal interference nearby.
    • Solution 2: Avoid placing the mobile phone close to metal objects. Try moving to a different location or using another mobile phone.
    • Reason 3: The Bluetooth headset power is insufficient.
    • Solution 3: Charge the headset as soon as possible.
  6. Question: There is no sound in the headset during a voice call, and the sound comes out of the mobile phone.
    • Reason: The headset is operated during a voice call or call. Double-click the headset.
    • Solution: Turn off the mobile phone's Bluetooth, then turn it on again. Alternatively, place the headset in the box, close the cover, turn off the headset, and then open the cover. The headset may not support connecting or hanging up voice calls directly. For voice calls, connect or hang up using the mobile phone.
    • Note: Currently, the headset only supports incoming calls from GSM cards, not app network calls.
  7. Question: After the headset is put into the box and the cover is closed, the headset is not disconnected.
    • Reason 1: The charging box is completely dead.
    • Solution 1: Charge the charging box.
    • Reason 2: The headset is not put into the box properly, and communication between the headset and the base is abnormal.
    • Solution 2: Re-open the charging box, take the earphones out, and place them back correctly. The charging column on the charging box should light up when the earphones are inserted, and then close the cover.
    • Reason 3: The charging box is damaged.
    • Solution 3: Replace the charging box.
