Acceptance Test (Industrial/Public Use)

Charging Instructions

ATTENTION: Please charge fixture for 8 hours before initial use.

To charge: Plug in the power cord, turn the black main power switch OFF, and turn the red battery power switch ON. The LED indicator below the power button will be red when charging and green when fully charged.

For prolonged battery life, always charge for a full 6 hours when the battery is depleted.

Wireless Link Function

Setting Master Light

  1. Select your master light.
  2. Press Menu >> Set >> Enter >> Choose DMX channel (6CH or 10CH). Ensure all slave light channels are set to the same DMX channel as the master light.
  3. Press Menu twice to return to the main menu.

Selecting Master Light Mode

You can choose from three modes: Shows, Sound, and Color. Refer to the Unit Functions section for mode setting options.

Slave Light Settings

  1. Turn on each slave light and set the DMX channel by following instructions in step 2 of "Setting Master Light".
  2. In the main menu, select DMX512 >> Enter >> Use the Up/Down buttons to set the light to A001. Do this for each individual light. All slave lights must be set to A001.

Once procedures are completed, the master light's wireless DMX signal LED indicator should be red, while the slave light's LED indicators should be green.

DMX Termination (Optional)

To prevent electrical noise from disturbing DMX control signals, the last fixture in a DMX chain should be terminated. This is done by soldering a 1/4 Watt, 120 Ohm resistor across the DATA - and DATA + wires of the DMX OUT connector of the last fixture. The diagram illustrates these connections.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEMSOLUTION
No power1. Ensure unit is plugged in and black power switch is ON.
2. Check power cord for damage.
3. Check and replace fuse if necessary.
No power (battery mode)1. Ensure unit is fully charged, red power switch is ON, and black power switch is OFF.
2. Charge battery for 6 hours. Ensure black power switch is OFF and red power switch is ON.
No fixture DMX response (wired)1. Verify correct starting address and that all fixtures share the same address.
2. Ensure DMX channel setting is the same for all fixtures.
3. Use correct faders on the controller.
4. Use correct fixture template and assign controller faders accordingly.
5. Change signal polarity at the controller.
6. Check DMX cables for damage.
7. Verify DMX cables are connected properly to the correct connectors and wired correctly (pin 3 is typically 'hot', pin 2 may be 'hot' on other devices).
No fixture DMX response (wireless mode)1. Follow all steps for wired DMX response.
2. Follow all steps in the "Wireless Link Function" section.
3. Ensure wireless antenna is properly positioned and connected.
4. Check for obstructions between master and slave fixtures.
Unit does not respond to sound1. Quiet or high-pitched sounds may not activate the unit.
2. Ensure Sound Activate mode is turned ON.
