Master/Slave Mode
- Connect to power source and turn on all fixtures.
- Connect all fixtures via the DMX IN/DMX OUT ports.
- Set all fixtures to DMX mode A001 (3CH) or d001 (6CH).
- Select one fixture to be the master. All other fixtures will follow the master.
DMX Mode
The BATTERY PAR 50 can be controlled via any DMX Controller. You can change color, control modes, create scenes, and program chases. Daisy chain multiple units via DMX cables. The fixture uses 3 or 6 channels depending on the DMX mode.
DMX Channels
To set the DMX starting channel address, press MODE until A001 (3-channel) or d001 (6-channel) is displayed. Use UP and DOWN to set the address. Set each fixture 16 channels apart for independent control. For example, set the first light to A001 (or d001) and the second to A017 (or d017).
DMX Termination (Optional)
The last fixture in a DMX chain must be terminated with a 1/4 Watt, 120 Ohm resistor across the DATA - and DATA + wires to prevent electrical noise. See diagram below.
DMX Termination Diagram:
Diagram shows 6 fixtures connected in a chain. Fixture 1 has DMX IN and DMX OUT. Fixtures 2-5 also have DMX IN and DMX OUT. Fixture 6 (last fixture) has DMX IN and DMX OUT, with a terminator symbol connected across DATA- and DATA+.
A diagram shows a 120 Ohm resistor connected between PIN 2 (DATA-) and PIN 3 (DATA+) of a DMX connector.

Installation
Floor Installation
Use the dual brackets for easy floor installation. Loosen the locking knobs on the sides, spread the legs, set the light angle, and tighten the knobs. Alternatively, place the light on its rubber feet.
Diagrams illustrate loosening knobs, spreading legs, setting angle, and placing on rubber feet.
Truss Installation
Hang the fixture from a truss using a standard mounting clamp (not included). Secure the mounting clamp and bracket to the mounting holes on top of each bracket. Use a suitable safety restraint cable.
Diagrams show a mounting clamp attached to the fixture's bracket and being secured to a truss.

Troubleshooting
Problem: No Power
Solution:
- Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning.
- Check and replace the fuse if necessary (use the same type).
- Check that the power cord is not damaged.
Problem: No Power (battery mode)
Solution:
- Ensure the unit is fully charged and the power switch is ON.
- Charge the battery for at least 4 hours. Ensure the power switch is OFF during charging.
Problem: No fixture DMX response
Solution:
- Verify the starting address at the fixture and ensure all other fixtures have the same address.
- Ensure the DMX channel setting is the same for all fixtures.
- Use the correct faders on the controller.
- Use the correct fixture template and assign controller faders accordingly.
- Change the signal polarity at the controller.
- Check DMX cables for damage.
- Ensure DMX cables are connected properly and wired correctly (pin 3 is “hot”; on some devices, pin 2 may be “hot”). Verify correct connector usage.
Problem: Intermittent DMX problems
Solution:
- Use DMX compatible cables.
- Keep DMX cables away from AC wires or radio equipment.
- Install a terminator.
- For long DMX cables or many units, use an optically coupled DMX amplifier.
Problem: Unit does not respond to sound
Solution:
- Quiet or high-pitched sounds may not activate the unit.
- Ensure Sound control mode is turned ON.
