Stylish, Easy-to-use Wireless ADSL2+ Gateway for Ultra High-speed Internet Access
Benefits
High-speed Internet access
The P-660HNU-T1 is an ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ router supporting downstream transmission of up to 12 Mbps (ADSL2) or 24 Mbps (ADSL2+). This technology enables users to enjoy high-speed ADSL services and broadband multimedia applications such as interactive gaming, video streaming, and real-time audio, running faster and easier. For ISP/Telco needs, the P-660HNU-T1 supports rate and line status monitoring.
Stylish, user-friendly GUI
The stylish Web-based interface makes it extremely easy for users to install and manage the P-660HNU-T1. The intuitive Web interface and user-friendly configuration steps offer a fresh experience for every user.
802.11n 2x2 Wireless technology
The 802.11n technology provides a high-speed wireless connection with data rates of up to 300 Mbps. The 2x2 technology utilizes the home environment by bouncing wireless signals off walls and ceilings to overcome obstacles. The P-660HNU-T1 meets high-speed wireless access requirements for performance, extended range, co-existence with other 802.11 b/g/n clients and access points, and helps eliminate Wi-Fi dead spots.
Applications with firewall capability
The P-660HNU-T1 provides stateful inspection filtering and real firewall network protections. With the default firewall settings, outgoing and incoming traffic from the protected LAN is blocked. The Linux firewall supports TCP/UDP inspection, Denial of Services (DoS) detection and prevention, and real-time alerts, reports, and logs.
TR-069 remote management
With TR-069 standard management specifications, service providers can manage and configure client devices remotely without manual intervention from end-users. This feature offers a true "plug-and-play" experience, reduces deployment complexity, and saves operating and maintenance costs for service providers.

Application Diagram
The application diagram illustrates the network connectivity. The Internet connects to an Internet Service Provider (ISP), which then connects to a DSLAM. The DSLAM links to the home or office via an ADSL2+ line, using a POTS splitter to separate voice and data signals from the telephone line. The ZyXEL P-660HNU-T1 Wireless N ADSL2+ 4-port Gateway with USB connects to this ADSL2+ line. The gateway features four ? Ethernet ports (10/100M) for wired connections to devices such as Set-Top Boxes (STB), IPTV, Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA), general data devices, and phones. It also provides ? 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity. A ? USB 2.0 host port allows for connecting external storage devices (USB HD) for storage or printer sharing, or for extending wireless capabilities with adapters like the NWD2205 Wireless N USB Adapter. The diagram also shows a ZyXEL NSA320 2-Bay Power Media Server as a potential complementary device.
