Honeywell Home DC515XX Wireless Doorbell

Getting Started

This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your Honeywell Home DC515XX wireless doorbell.

Included in the box:

• 1 x Doorbell Button
• 1 x Chime Unit
• 2 x Screws
• 2 x Wall Plugs
• 1 x CR2032 Battery
• 2 x AA/LR6 Batteries
• 1 x Screwdriver

Installation:

Doorbell Button:

• Mount the doorbell button near your door using the provided screws and wall plugs. Ensure it is at a suitable height.
• Insert the CR2032 battery into the doorbell button.

Chime Unit:

• Place the chime unit indoors, within range of the doorbell button.
• Insert 3 x AA/LR6 batteries into the chime unit.

Linking the Doorbell and Chime

Follow these steps to link your doorbell button to the chime unit:

1. Press and hold the button on the chime unit for 5 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
2. Press the doorbell button. The chime unit will beep, and the LED will flash, confirming the link.
3. If the link is unsuccessful, repeat the process.

Optional Features

The DC515XX offers several optional features:

• Chime Tunes: Select from a variety of melodies. Press the chime unit button to cycle through the available tunes.
• Volume Control: Adjust the volume to your preference.
• Sleep Mode: Activate sleep mode to temporarily disable the chime.
• Linking Multiple Devices: The chime unit can be linked to multiple doorbell buttons or other Honeywell Home accessories.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, try the following:

• No sound: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and charged. Check if the chime unit is linked to the doorbell button.
• Intermittent sound: Check for obstructions between the doorbell button and chime unit. Ensure the batteries are not low.
• Volume too low/high: Adjust the volume using the controls on the chime unit.
