Honeywell Home DW311XX & DW313XX Doorbell Installation Guide

Getting Started

This guide provides instructions for installing your Honeywell Home doorbell. Please ensure you follow all safety precautions.

Included Components:

• Doorbell Unit (A1, A2)
• Push Button (B1, B2/AC1, AC2)
• Mounting screws and anchors (x1, x1, x2, x2)
• Wire connectors

Tools Required: Screwdriver, drill (if needed for mounting).

Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Installation Site

Ensure the main power supply is disconnected before proceeding. Follow the transformer instructions if applicable.

Step 2: Mount the Doorbell Unit

Choose a suitable location for the doorbell unit. Mount it securely using the provided screws and anchors. Ensure it is at least 30mm from any corners or obstructions.

Step 3: Wire the Push Button

Connect the wires from the push button to the appropriate terminals on the doorbell unit. Refer to the wiring diagrams provided.

Step 4: Install Batteries (if applicable)

For battery-powered models, insert 4x AA/LR6 batteries into the push button. Ensure correct polarity.

Step 5: Connect to Power Transformer (if applicable)

If using a transformer, connect the doorbell to the 8-12V~ output. Ensure the transformer is connected to a 220-240V~ mains supply.

Transformer Installation

For wired illuminated push buttons with a transformer, ensure the main supply is disconnected before installation. Follow the transformer instructions carefully.

Chime Selection and Features
