Getting Started
This guide provides essential steps to set up your Honeywell Home DC315XX wireless doorbell.
Package Contents:
- 1x Doorbell Chime
- 1x Push Button
- 2x Screws
- 2x Wall Plugs
- 1x CR2032 Battery (for Push Button)
- 4x AA/LR6 Batteries (for Chime)
- 1x Screwdriver (6mm)
Initial Setup Steps:
- Mounting the Chime: The chime can be wall-mounted. Ensure a spacing of approximately 30mm between mounting points.
- Mounting the Push Button: The push button can be wall-mounted. Ensure a spacing of approximately 15mm between mounting points.
- Install Push Button Battery: Open the push button casing. Insert the CR2032 battery, observing polarity (+). Close the casing.
- Install Chime Batteries: Open the chime casing. Insert 4x AA/LR6 batteries, observing polarity (+). Close the casing.
- Test Functionality: Press the push button to confirm the chime rings.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Clean the desired mounting surface for the push button and chime.
- Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate for the push button to the cleaned surface.
- Secure Push Button: Attach the push button to its mounting plate.
Optional Features: Chime Tones
Your doorbell offers various chime tones. To change the tone:
- Press the music note button on the chime.
- Continue pressing to cycle through available tones.

Linking the Doorbell Components
To link the push button and chime:
- Initiate Linking on Chime: Press and hold the linking button on the chime for approximately 12 seconds until an indicator light or sound confirms it's in linking mode.
- Activate Push Button: Press the push button. The chime should respond, indicating successful linking.
Troubleshooting Linking:
If linking fails or the chime does not respond:
- Attempt 1: Repeat the linking process.
- Attempt 2: If still unsuccessful after 3 hours, try again.
- Attempt 3: If still unsuccessful after 6 hours, try again.
- Attempt 4: If still unsuccessful after 9 hours, try again.
- Attempt 5: If still unsuccessful after 12 hours, try again.
Ensure the components are within range and batteries are correctly installed.
Troubleshooting and Support
If you encounter issues, try the following:
- Reset/Re-link: Press and hold the linking button on the chime for approximately 12 seconds to reset and re-initiate the linking process with the push button.
