Settings
Softener
The softener removes minerals from the water that can negatively affect washing performance and the appliance. Higher mineral content means harder water. Water hardness is measured in equivalent units.
The softener should be adjusted according to your local water hardness. Consult your local water supplier for water hardness information. Setting the correct level for the softener is crucial for ensuring good washing results.
Water Hardness and Softener Settings
Water Hardness (eq. mg/L) | Softener Setting | Water Hardness (eq. mg/L) | Softener Setting |
---|---|---|---|
0-90 | H1 | 301-400 | H4 |
91-200 | H2 | 401-600 | H5 |
201-300 | H3 | Above 600 | H6 |
Local Water Hardness Examples
City | Beijing | Shenyang | Shanghai | Nanjing | Guangzhou |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Water Hardness (eq. mg/L) | 250-260 | 270-280 | 150-160 | 130-140 | 90-100 |
Softener Setting | H3 | H3 | H2 | H2 | H2 |
1) H3 is the factory setting.
2) H1 setting does not require dishwasher salt.
Regardless of whether you use standard detergent or multi-functional tablets (with or without salt), set the appropriate water softener level to keep the dishwasher salt indicator active.
ⓘ Multi-functional tablets containing salt cannot effectively soften hard water.
How to set the softener level:
- Press the On/Off key to turn on the appliance.
- After the appliance has been on for 60 seconds, press and hold the key for more than 5 seconds to enter the softener setting mode.
- Press the program key repeatedly to cycle through the softener levels (H1-H2, H3-H4, H5-H6) on the display.
- Press the On/Off key to confirm the setting.
Rinse Aid Empty Indicator
Rinse aid helps dry dishes and remove water spots and grease. Always use rinse aid for optimal drying results.
Rinse aid is automatically released during the hot rinse cycle. The rinse aid indicator lights up when the rinse aid compartment is empty, prompting you to refill it.
Rinse Aid Level Setting
The rinse aid release amount can be set between level "D1" (minimum release) and "D5" (maximum release).
How to set the rinse aid level:
- Press the On/Off key to turn on the appliance.
- After the appliance has been on for 60 seconds, press and hold the key for more than 5 seconds, then press the program key to enter the rinse aid setting mode. The rinse aid indicator will flash.
- Press the program key repeatedly to cycle through the rinse aid levels (D1, D2, D3, D4, D5) on the display. The higher the number, the more rinse aid the appliance will release.
- Press the On/Off key to confirm the setting.
Before First Use
- Ensure the current softener level matches your water hardness. If not, adjust the softener level.
- Fill the salt compartment.
- Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
- Open the water tap.

Salt Compartment
Warning! Use only dishwasher salt. Table salt will damage the softener. Dishwasher salt regenerates the softener in the water softener and ensures good washing results during daily use.

Tips and Tricks
General Guidelines
The following tips will help ensure optimal washing and drying performance while also protecting the environment:
- Remove large food residues from dishes and place them in the waste bin.
- Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand. If necessary, use the pre-wash program or select a program with a pre-wash step.
- When loading the appliance, ensure that the water sprayed from the spray arms can reach and clean all dishes. Make sure dishes do not touch or cover each other.
- You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and dishwasher salt separately, or use multi-functional tablets (e.g., "3-in-1", "4-in-1", "5-in-1"). Follow the instructions on the packaging.
- Select the program according to the load type and soiling level. The ECO program allows you to use water and energy most efficiently for cleaning lightly soiled dishes.
Using Dishwasher Salt, Rinse Aid, and Detergent
- Only use dishwasher-specific salt, rinse aid, and detergent. Other products can damage the appliance.
- In areas with hard and very hard water, it is recommended to use standard dishwasher products (detergent powder, gel, or tablets without additives), rinse aid, and dishwasher salt separately to optimize washing and drying results.
- Run a dishwasher cleaner at least once a month.
- Detergent tablets may not dissolve completely in short programs. To avoid detergent residue on dishes, it is recommended to use detergent tablets in programs with longer wash cycles.
- Do not exceed the recommended detergent dosage. Refer to the instructions on the detergent packaging.
How to Stop Using Combination Tablets
Follow these steps to use detergent, dishwasher salt, and rinse aid separately:
- Set the softener to the highest level.
- Ensure the salt and rinse aid compartments are filled.
- Run the shortest program with a rinse step, without adding detergent or loading dishes.
- After the program finishes, adjust the softener according to your local water hardness.
- Adjust the rinse aid release amount.
- Activate the rinse aid empty indicator.
Loading the Basket
- ⓘ Refer to the basket loading examples in the supplied manual.
- Only wash dishwasher-safe items in the appliance.
- Do not place items made of wood, animal horn, aluminum, tin, or copper in the appliance.
- Do not place absorbent items (sponges, home textiles) in the appliance.
- Remove food residues from items.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning Filters
Warning! Before performing maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the main power supply.
ⓘ Dirty filters and blocked spray arms reduce cleaning performance. Check and clean them regularly as needed.
Diagram:
- 1. Unlock the filter counter-clockwise and remove it from the appliance.
- 2. Gently squeeze the filter assembly and detach filter B and filter C from the main filter assembly (A).
- 3. Rinse filters A, B, and C with running water. If necessary, use a soft cleaning brush.
- 4. Reassemble the filters as shown in the diagram.
- 5. Insert the filter assembly back into its original position and lock it clockwise. Ensure that the arrows on filters B and C are aligned as shown in the diagram.
Cleaning Spray Arms
It is recommended to clean the upper and lower spray arms regularly to prevent food debris from blocking the spray arm nozzles. Blocked spray arm nozzles can lead to unsatisfactory cleaning results.
Diagram:
- 1. Remove the upper and lower baskets.
- 2. Detach the upper spray arm by unscrewing the nut located in the center of the upper spray arm, turning it counter-clockwise.
- 3. Detach the lower spray arm by pulling it downwards from the bottom of the appliance.
- 4. Rinse the upper and lower spray arms with running water. Use a pointed tool (e.g., a toothpick) to clear any granular debris from the spray arm nozzles.
- 5. Replace the spray arms. To reassemble the upper spray arm, align its center with the nut and screw it clockwise. To reassemble the lower spray arm, insert it back into its housing.
External Cleaning
- Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp soft cloth.
- Use only a mild neutral detergent.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.
Internal Cleaning
- Carefully clean the appliance, including the door's rubber seals, with a soft, damp cloth.
- To maintain the appliance's performance, use a dishwasher-specific cleaner at least once a month. Follow the instructions on the product packaging carefully.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, sharp tools, aggressive chemicals, cleaning balls, or solvents.
- Running short programs frequently can cause grease and limescale to build up inside the appliance.
- Run longer programs at least twice a month to prevent the buildup of stains.
