Important Safeguards

Read all instructions for household use only.

• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
• Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles and knobs.
• Always use on a flat heat resistant surface.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs or other parts of the unit in water or other liquid.
• When in use the pouch and bottle warmer contains hot water and steam.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Always keep the pouch and bottle warmer and its plug out of reach of small children.
• Before plugging in the pouch and bottle warmer for the first time ensure the voltage is compatible with your electricity supply by checking the label on the base of the unit.
• Ensure water has been added to the unit before switching the unit on.
• The product has been fitted with a cord wind on the base of the unit to allow you to adjust the length of the cord safely. It is recommended that the cord be kept as short as possible.
• User maintenance other than cleaning or descaling is not required for this product.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachment is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer as this may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Always attach the plug to the unit first, and then plug into the wall outlet. To disconnect turn any control "off" then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for anything other than intended use.
• Before serving, unplug cord from wall outlet. Do not leave cord within child's reach.
• Always place the bottle or pouch into the warmer before adding the water.
• Ensure that the heating guidelines are followed to ensure that the food is not heated for too long.
• Before serving be sure food is at safe temperature.
• Do not move appliance when in use.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used: The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding type 3-wire cord; and The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
• Lift cradle must be used when operating the unit.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into the polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
• Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Set Up

Please refer to instructions leaflet before use and remember to clean and descale your unit regularly. It is recommended to run one cycle of the unit before use. Please refer to the instructions in the Usage section.

2. Usage

For your child's safety always check milk temperature before feeding by testing on a sensitive part of the skin.

Operation Steps:

1. Step 1: Setup Unit

   Place the unit on a clean, dry kitchen work surface. Plug the unit into the mains power supply and switch it on.

2. Step 2: Place Bottle/Pouch

   Lift the easy-lift cradle and place your bottle or pouch into it. For hygiene, it is recommended to leave the hood on the nipple.

3. Step 3: Add Water

   Place the easy-lift cradle into the unit. Add 250ml (approximately 9 fl oz) of water using a Tommee Tippee bottle.

4. Step 4: Standby Mode

   Press the power button to turn on the unit. The LED will flash and beep once, indicating the unit is in standby mode.

5. Step 5: Select Bottle/Pouch Type

   Press the bottle/pouch type selection button until the LED adjacent to your required type illuminates.

6. Step 6: Select Temperature

   Press the temperature selection button until the LED adjacent to the correct starting temperature for the food is illuminated.

7. Step 7: Select Food Volume

   Press the volume selection button until the LED adjacent to the amount of food to be warmed is illuminated.

8. Step 8: Start Warming Cycle

   Press the power button again. The unit will beep once to indicate the warming cycle has started. When the cycle finishes, the unit will beep 3 times, and the LEDs will continue to flash while the food is still warm. Pressing any button will stop the LED flashing, or the unit will automatically switch off after 45 minutes.

9. Step 9: Remove and Cool

   Remove the food after the cycle has completed. Take care not to touch the water inside the unit, as it will have been heated during the cycle. Once cooled, empty the unit and wipe it dry with a clean cloth.

To Reset/Switch Off:

To cancel a cycle, hold down the power button for 3 seconds; the unit will reset.

3. Cleaning

Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning. After each use, pour away remaining water from the bottle and pouch warmer by tipping the bottle and pouch warmer sideways over a sink and wipe clean with a damp cloth only. Do not clean with abrasive cleaners or allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals, damage could result.

De-scaling

The frequency of de-scaling should be as follows:

• Hard water: 7 days
• Medium: 14 days
• Soft: 21 days

You can find out your water quality via your water provider.

After each use, allow to cool before pouring away remaining water from the bottle and pouch warmer by tipping the bottle and pouch warmer sideways over a sink and wipe with a damp cloth only. Unplug the bottle and pouch warmer and allow to cool before cleaning. A build-up of limescale can negatively affect the performance of the bottle and pouch warmer. We recommend carrying out the descaling process as per above frequency guidelines to ensure the bottle and pouch warmer continues to work efficiently. Living in a hard water area can produce limescale quicker than other areas, therefore descaling is required sooner. Use a descaler that is suitable for use with stainless steel and use as per the manufacturer's guidelines. Alternatively, you can use white vinegar to descale your bottle and pouch warmer, please use as per manufacturer's guidelines. Once you have descaled, then follow instructions under set up to perform a final cleaning cycle. You may need to repeat the process if you find that limescale is still present. DO NOT use metal objects or scourers to clean your bottle and pouch warmer. DO NOT use bleach to clean the bottle and pouch warmer. DO NOT use abrasive or anti-bacterial materials.
